Estoy devuelta para dar por terminado estas rondas, es la tercera de Hive Music Festival y estoy dando por terminado con otro pasillo, ya que me comprometí a hacer 3 rondas de pasillos ecuatorianos, quiero terminar con uno de mis pasillos favoritos, cantado por Julio Jaramillo, el gran exponente ecuatoriano que tenemos.
"El alma en los labios", es un pasillo simplemente hermoso, su letra es poética y romántica. Esta música habla de como el cantante sigue enamorado pero la persona que ama ha perdido el interés, por lo que recurre a esta letra musical, para expresarle lo loco que esta por ella y que hará de todo para demostrarle su inmenso amor.
Esto me trae recuerdo de cuando ame con locura a alguien y que hice muchas cosas de las cuales ahora me arrepiento, pero que lo hice con la intensión de no perderlo, porque era mi primer amor, era una situación en la cual solo uno amaba al otro y el otro ya había perdido el interés. Cuando uno ama con pasión suelen pasar estas cosas, que aunque suene romántico, la realidad es que no esta tan bien, debemos aprender a soltar cuando la llama del amor se acabo.

I'm back to conclude these rounds. This is the third round of Hive Music Festival, and I'm closing with another pasillo. Since I committed to doing three rounds of Ecuadorian pasillos, I want to end with one of my favorite pasillos, sung by Julio Jaramillo, the great Ecuadorian singer we have.
"El alma en los labios" (The Soul on the Lips) is a simply beautiful pasillo song, with poetic and romantic lyrics. This song talks about how the singer is still in love, but the person he loves has lost interest, so he uses these lyrics to express how crazy he is about her and how he will do anything to show her his immense love.
This reminds me of when I loved someone madly and did many things I now regret, but I did them with the intention of not losing them, because they were my first love. It was a situation in which only one of us loved the other, and the other had already lost interest. When you love passionately, these things tend to happen. Although they sound romantic, the reality is that they're not so good. We must learn to let go when the flame of love has burned out.
