Hive Music Festival Week 157 Round 1, I performed a song titled "Bait Pertama" (first stanza)by the Indonesian band Sheila on 7.
Sheila on 7 is an Indonesian alternative rock band from Yogyakarta. Founded by a group of high school students on May 6, 1996, the band currently consists of Eross Candra (Eross), Akhdiyat Duta Modjo (Duta), and Adam Muhammad Subarkah (Adam). They have had several member changes since their formation, with Eross (guitar), Duta (vocals), Adam (bass guitar), Saktia "Sakti" Ari Seno (guitar), and Anton Widiastanto (drums). Anton was released in 2004, followed by Sakti, who left in 2006. Brian Kresna Putro then joined as the permanent drummer and replaced Anton for 18 years until his departure in 2022. During their early years, Eross was the band's main songwriter and leader.
Sheila on 7 was the first Indonesian band to sell over 1 million copies of their first three albums in Indonesia, with their second album, Kisah Klasik untuk Masa Depan (2001), reaching #8 and Sheila on 7 reaching #13 on the list of best-selling albums in Indonesia. Kisah Klasik Untuk Masa Depan reached #1 on Billboard Malaysia's Hits Albums of the World.

One of the songs I performed is titled "Bait Pertama" (First stanza). Its meaning is about a person's resilience and determination to move on despite the loss of someone closest to them. The lyrics describe someone trying to be strong and move on after losing a loved one, despite the sadness and hurt they inevitably feel inside.
I think this song is full of enthusiasm for listeners who are trying to get up, even though the song is simple and not long, each lyric tries to accompany us from bitterness and to try to get up. I hope my friends enjoy the song I bring, I hope this song can accompany you and be comfortable for my friends to listen to.
