Does this apply to all people who cook at home? I think ideas are expensive, especially if we feel stuck with the same menus we make ourselves. Honestly, it's really hard for me to create new dishes because I'm stuck with the ingredients I have. Well, this time the menu its really exciting! My kitchen was a bit messy, of course, because of cooking. Today I really wanted to finish cooking quickly, and my busy schedule made me think quickly. I get it from the supermarket and fried it. Fried chicken is always boring right? especially without seasoning. So, I make it more interesting. In our garden, we had some chilies that were still green. I picked some of them to add to this dish. I called it Green Torch Ginger Sambal Chicken. It's truly a unique name, and it's very difficult to translate into English because it's so local. Ingredients: - 500g chicken thighs (for juicier texture) - Marinated with salt and coriander - 150g green chilies - 2 pieces of bird's eye chilies - 7 shallots - 1 clove of garlic - 300ml oil - 1 piece of torch ginger, kaffir lime leaves, galangal, and lemongrass Recipe Part: I marinate the chicken in salt and coriander for 30 minutes in the refrigerator. Then, use vegetable oil, I fried it for 15 minutes, or until golden brown. Then, I add the lemongrass, galangal, and lime leaves. This add flavor to the green chili sauce, and I also add the remain torch ginger. Honestly, this idea just add into my head.
