Hello, good afternoon, my dear friends. I hope you are all well. I want to share with you some delicious empanadas filled with pabellón, which I made today, Sunday. Yesterday, I cooked shredded beef and prepared beans, which I saved to make these delicious empanadas that I love.

Ingredients I used: -Flour -Shredded beef -Beans -Oil -Plantains -Salt and sugar to taste

Here are the steps to prepare our pabellón empanadas: We will start by preparing the dough for our empanadas. First, add water to the bowl where we are going to knead the dough. then add salt and sugar to taste to our dough. The sugar is optional, but personally, I like it that way. Then we finish by adding our flour little by little so that it is well kneaded and there are no lumps from being poorly kneaded. Some people do it the other way around, first the flour and then the water, but both ways work, friends.

Then continue cooking some delicious plantain slices that give the pabellón a fantastic flavor. First, cut the plantain in half, remove the skins, and begin to chop the plantain into slices. Add plenty of oil to the pan and cook over medium heat, leaving them a little golden brown.

Next, take a plastic bag, add a little oil to grease it so the flour doesn't stick, and roll out the dough. If you don't have oil, you can also use water, and the dough won't stick either. Once you have your dough, you can start adding the ingredients or filling to the empanada.

Next, add the filling to the empanada. As mentioned earlier, today's flavor is pabellón. Start by adding the beans, then add the delicious shredded beef on top. Finally, add the tasty plantain slices to finish the filling.

Then, using the same bag, we will close our empanada and mold and seal it well so that the filling does not come out.

Once our first empanadas are ready, we'll continue adding them to the pan with plenty of oil, which should be hot so they can cook properly. When they are golden brown or toasted, remove them. Personally, I love them really crispy.

That's how I made my delicious pabellón empanadas. With the amount of ingredients I used, I got 10 delicious empanadas. Credits: the photos are my property, I made the collages with the GridArt app, and I translated the texts with the Deepl translator. Have a great afternoon, friends!
