What's up my Hivers? I believe you are in good healthy under the pandemic situation and using your time for improve useful activities. Yesterday night I had an idea to prepare good and nutritious dish which it contains mainly freshwater godaya fish. I previously said that, preshwater fish species very nutritious than seafoods. But taste little bit different. I always like to eat freshwater fish from different dishes. Most of rural area citizens prepare freshwater fish dishes using more healthful spices. They have different recipes for make any meals very deliciously. So today I'm going to publish how to make a differently fried and cooked freshwater (Godaya) fish dish.
Ingredients
- 250g of freshly washed and sliced freshwater (Godaya) fish
- A sliced lime
- Two and a half teaspoons of chili powder
- A teaspoon of curry powder
- Half a teaspoon of fennel
- Two teaspoons of pepper powder
- 250 ml of coconut oil
- A teaspoon of mustard seeds
- A few small pieces of cinnamon
- Garcinia two pulp
- Crushed ginger
- Crushed garlic
- Finely chopped onion
- Finely chopped green chillies
- Rampe and curry leaves
- Teaspoon of salt
- 3/4 cup of water
Preparing method
- First put the cleaned and washed sliced fish in a dish and squeeze the lime into the fish. Now add pepper powder and leave for two hours to harden.
- Put a pan on the stove and add one and a half teaspoons of chilli powder and fry for a while. Put it in a small dish. Now add a teaspoon of chilli powder, a teaspoon of curry powder to the pan add half a teaspoon of fennel and fry together. Put a deep frying pan on the stove, add oil and let it heat up. Then deep fry the fish pieces so as not to make too many.
- Put the pan back on the stove, add a little oil and fry the mustard seeds when heated. Then add crushed garlic and crushed ginger.
- When the ginger and garlic are fried, add the chopped onion, chopped green chillies, curry leaves and rumpe and let it fry.
- Add fried chili powder and mix well with the spice mixture. Add a cup of water, mix well and bring to a boil.
- Then add Garcinia, cinnamon sticks, salt and pepper and simmer over low heat. After about a minute, remove from the heat.
Few minutes later, I took my lunch with this dish. I'm honestly saying that, this meal was too delicious and spicy. With spices increased more tasty. Our parents appreciated again about of our cooking ability. You can try it out when you'll find freshwater fish.
