Visiting a new place always generates a lot of expectations and the truth is that I don't like to go blindly, that's why when one of the girls suggested going to "Francelina " for some ice cream I didn't think twice.
Hello #foodies of the world, I hope you're feeling great! Today is my first time to share with you something different than a recipe. It is a review of a place that I just met yesterday and that is definitely worth recommending.
As I mentioned above, I'm pretty careful when it comes to trying something new, especially if it's food, because it's not only the disappointment of finding something I don't like, but also spending money on it. So I don't take it lightly.
Generally what I do in these cases is look for information on Instagram or ask some friends who have similar tastes to mine, and based on that I decide to jump into the new experience.
And just that happened yesterday when my dear friend @kristal24 who is visiting the island suggested visiting "Francelina " on our outing with @sugarelys.
This place is located in "La Vela " one of the most exclusive malls on the island, and the truth is that although I usually go there a lot I had never stopped to see it. Honestly I wonder how could that be possible, if it is simply beautiful!
From the moment you enter you find a super nice lighting and an atmosphere that invites you to stay.
Everything absolutely impeccable, nothing out of place, every detail perfectly cared for and for me that is of great value, because it is nice to sit down to eat something in a place where you feel good, right? Well "Francelina " is like that!
A quite large space in white and mint green tones make it a really cozy place. It is an Italian food restaurant but they have different options ranging from ice cream, pastries and tapas.
It has two quite comfortable areas and although at first we had the intention of enjoying the outdoor terrace, the hot weather of the island made us desist immediately, so we took a place at one of the beautiful tables next to the window overlooking the terrace, so in a way we enjoyed both environments.
As I mentioned at the beginning, the idea was to try the ice creams because they were already 100% recommended and I must say that when I looked at the display I could not doubt it, the whole presentation looked like something out of a magazine, and besides looking absolutely delicious they allowed us to try a little before making our choice.
Finally after a few minutes @Kristal24 decided on a Brownie, @sugarelys on a Yogurt and me on a Francelina, a mix of vanilla, lemon cream and cookies.
After tasting them I couldn't agree more that all three were absolutely delicious, although I must confess that the one we had the most doubts about was the most delicious, and that was Anaely's selection. Her yogurt ice cream was AMAZING!
It was truly an experience for all the senses. A beautiful place, with a nice atmosphere, the ice cream was delicious and I must confess that I had never been in such a nice place, although there are many beautiful spaces on the island, but the decoration of this one is absolutely charming.
And not to mention the service. All the guys in charge of attending you are not only very attentive but also super polite and with an impeccable presentation.
I really have nothing negative to say about this place, except that in my case it is not to visit every day because of the cost, but if you want to treat yourself this is definitely the place. I would give it 5 stars.
So if you are in Isla Margarita and have the opportunity to visit "Francelina " do not miss it. I assure you that you will not regret it.

Visitar un lugar nuevo siempre genera muchas expectativas y la verdad no me gusta ir a ciegas, por eso cuando en una salida de chicas una de ellas sugirió entrar a "Francelina" por unos helados no lo pensé dos veces.
¡Feliz día #foodies del mundo, espero se encuentren súper bien! El día de hoy paso por primera vez a compartirles algo diferente a una receta. Se trata de una reseña de un lugar que recién conocí ayer y que definitivamente vale la pena recomendar.
Como les comenté arriba soy bastante cuidadosa cuando de probar algo nuevo se trata, sobre todo si es comida, pues no sólo es la decepción de toparme con algo que no me agrade, sino el gastar dinero en ello. Así que no me lo tomo a la ligera.
Generalmente lo que hago en estos casos es buscar información en Instagram o preguntar a algunos amigos que tengan gustos similares a los míos, y en base a eso decido lanzarme a la nueva experiencia.
Y justo eso sucedió el día de ayer cuando mi querida amiga @kristal24 quien se encuentra de visita en la isla sugirió visitar "Francelina" en nuestra salida junto a @sugarelys.
Este local se encuentra ubicado en "La Vela" uno de los Centros Comerciales más exclusivos de la isla, y la verdad aunque suelo ir muchísimo nunca me había detenido a verlo. Sinceramente me pregunto cómo pudo ser eso posible, si es simplemente hermoso!!
Desde que entras te encuentras con una iluminación súper agradable y una ambientación que te invita a quedarte.
Todo absolutamente impecable, nada fuera de lugar, cada detalle perfectamente cuidado y para mí eso es de gran valor, porque qué es rico sentarse a comer algo en un lugar donde te sientas bien, ¿Verdad? Pues "Francelina" es así!
Un espacio bastante amplio en tonos blanco y verde menta hacen de él un lugar realmente acogedor. Es un restaurante de comida italiana pero cuentan con diferentes opciones que van desde helados, pasando por pastelería y tapas.
Cuenta con dos áreas bastante cómodas y aunque en un principio teníamos la intención de disfrutar de la terraza al aire libre el clima tan caliente de la isla nos hizo desistir de inmediato, por lo que tomamos lugar en una de las bellísimas mesas junto al ventanal que daba a la terraza, así que de cierto modo disfrutamos de ambos ambientes.
Como les comenté al inicio la idea era probar los helados pues ya estaban 100% recomendados y debo decir que al mirar el exhibidor no pude ponerlo en duda, toda la presentación parecía sacada de una revista, y además de lucir absolutamente deliciosos nos permitían probar un poco antes de hacer la elección.
Finalmente después de algunos minutos @Kristal24 se decidió por uno de Brownie, @sugarelys por uno de Yogurt y yo por un Francelina, una mezcla de vainilla, crema de limón y galletas.
Después de probarlos no pude estar más de acuerdo en que estaban absolutamente deliciosos los tres, aunque debo confesar que del que más dudas teníamos fue el más delicioso, y se trató de la selección de Anaely. Su helado de yogurt estaba ¡INCREIBLE!.
Realmente fue una experiencia para todos los sentidos. Un lugar hermoso, con un ambiente agradable, el helado delicioso y debo confesar que nunca había estado en un sitio tan lindo, aunque hay muchos espacios hermosos en la isla, pero la decoración de este es absolutamente encantadora.
Y ni hablar de la atención. Todos los chicos encargados de atenderte son además de muy atentos súper educados y con una presentación impecable.
La verdad no tengo nada negativo que decir sobre este lugar, salvo que en mi caso no es para visitar todos los días debido al costo, pero si te quieres dar un gusto definitivamente este es el lugar. Yo le daría 5 estrellas.
Así que si están en Isla Margarita y tienen la oportunidad de visitar "Francelina" no dejen de hacerlo. Les aseguro que no se arrepentirán.
