Colors of a cold day at the lake Balaton

The eastern tip of Lake Balaton is just over 30 km from Székesfehérvár. It only takes half an hour to get there. Compared to the tiny Lake Velence, it seems to be a sea, or at least a bay, one of the largest freshwater lakes in Europe. These pictures were taken in Balatonvilágos around noon yesterday. Unfortunately, there are very few shores where you can go freely, because almost the whole of Lake Balaton has been surrounded by holiday homes and hotels. This means that only a narrow circle of owners and well-paying guests can really enjoy Lake Balaton. In Balatonvilágos you can go to the beach in only two places, one is a paid beach, the other is free. They are barely larger than a plot there, but they are full of beautiful trees and a little reed. Although June starts tomorrow, the weather is especially cold and windy. This only benefits sailors and surfers. The water is now crystal clear but just over 10 degrees. Of course, I could walk to the paid beach for free. I love this because there is peace and quiet at such times.
