A charity meeting doesn't have to be unpleasant.
Not if it takes place in an open air restaurant at a lovely wine estate.
Yes, things are drastically changing nowadays in the charity world and one has to be kept informed and wide awake. That's why we have regular meetings with leaders and workers of other charities. We are slowly losing ground due to professionals that are emigrating and for other reasons and there are always a host of other problems to discuss. Shared experiences and solutions to issues, when shared are of a great help to us all and invariably funding also features in these talks. I grabbed a chance to take some shots.
This is the restaurant under trees in welcome shade from the African sun.
A place of clouds, mountains and nature, what more can one want for a meeting. Oh and of course home brewed coffee.
Finally when we were done we traveled back to where we came from.
I find a deep calm within myself whenever I am out in the countryside and once the nitty gritty in a meeting is done, then the general chatter starts. But that's Marian's department and I make my escape with my camera. So in the pictures you saw the things that I love and I hope that the sights also ring a bell with you. Unfortunately I didn't have much time and I had to take what I could get. So I hope that the photos will please your souls.
