This was my latest project that was finished last Friday.
Last Thursday the whole day I washed our dirty clothes, but more on blankets, bed covers and pillow cases. It was tiring because the spinner broke down so I hunged them at the roof top, tiring to go up and down the stairs plus the dogs were mostly lying there. I almost fell, whoa, I was nervous, It was good my hand held the wire fence. I was coming down the stairs I let the dogs go down the stairs so I can passed but they were hard headed, do not move no matter how I shouted at them.So, I passed on the stairs on my tip toed. I want to kicked them, but I did not dare.
Any way, I went down the stairs unharmed. I finished this laundry activity almost 5pm stopping in between when I cooked for lunch. After that I relaxed, by just lying down but my mind was busy thinking I would like to make a hand bag for two cellphones. I got up and looked for the silver handle I bought about two months ago. Then placed the two cellphone and measure what will be the size for the bag.
Then, idea came up. I got the tiny cord for the base and the bulky chenille for the body of the bag. The base must be about 8". So, I started right away.
Using 1.9mm hook with the tiny cord I crocheted 8 halfdouble crochet (hdc) until it reached 8".
Then, I made 1 single crochet(sc) plus ch 1 all around, because the towel yarn another name of bulky chenille was big by using 5mm hook.
And, 1 sc all around the body.
But, with my excitement, as the bag grew up it form a wave! Maybe because I did not count the stitches at the side, it should be the same in numbers. The solution, on the next round I skip one stitch 3 times. I was happy the wave was corrected.
Until the body was about 5 inches I joined the tiny cord again as edging.
After I was satisfied with the length of the back I ended and attached the silver handle plus I made a closure and attached the button but I made this activity Friday at 4am because the other night I was too excited to finished the bag, oh, oh, hubby told me to sleep, off the lights. Hays, I was really anger. I can't sleep thinking of the unfinished bag. I waited for 4am where hubby also woke up that time and busy with his YouTube viewing.
Happy me that time after finishing the bag, I did not expect that this two materials tiny cord and towel yarn, jibes.
Looking at the bag, I imagine them to have a partner, so, I made this hair scrunchie.
And, for the sandal. I will buy the sole and find a shoe maker to attach them.
Oh! happy happy me with my new bag and new hair scrunchie.
