Greetings my dear needleworkers! I am very happy to stop by the community to say hello, take a look at the projects you share with us every day. I am also happy to share with you the small projects that I make whenever I have the opportunity.
This time I will tell you how this cross stitch embroidery project came about. It is a cute avocado that I embroidered yesterday. A few days ago I was doing some drawings on gridded sheets, a technique that I saw recently and that I found very interesting as well as being fun and relaxing. While I was coloring it occurred to me that these drawings could be used as a chart to make my cross stitch embroideries, so I decided to try this avocado chart.
Certainly, for this type of simple project the patterns work wonders, especially with regard to the shades of yarn colors. In the past I would look at the charts on my computer, sometimes I print it out to mark where I'm going. But when it comes to simple elements it is very entertaining to color the whole figure. However, for larger projects with more complex figures, I don't think it's as much fun.
The truth is that embroidery is very relaxing, but it also requires a lot of concentration to be able to follow the chart to the letter. I must confess that I missed a few stitches, but it's not that noticeable. The next projects will be better. Thanks for reading, greetings and blessings.
