Hello, dear friends of Hivediy, greetings to all artisans and artists in general who love to express and work with their hands, mind, and heart. Today, I want to share with all of you—who I know love art—my visit to an art exhibition. This isn't just any art exhibition, but one where women are the protagonists. The name of the exhibition was "Self-Perspectives." The purpose is to showcase creativity from a feminine perspective and the use of mixed-media materials. For me, it was a wonderful event where I connected with wonderful people and was able to experience the powerful feminine creative energy, from which I have so much to learn, with expressiveness of being paramount. The exhibition was directed and guided by a renowned local artist, who gave very accurate insights into what these women were looking for when creating their art. I'll briefly show you the tour.
Hola queridos amigos de Hivediy, saludos para todos aquellos artesanos y artistas en general, que aman expresar y trabajar con las manos, la mente y el corazón hoy quiero compartir con todos ustedes, que sé que aman el arte, mi visita a una exposición de arte. No es cualquier exposición de arte, sino una donde las protagonistas son las mujeres, el nombre de la exposición fue "Auto Miradas" el propósito es mostrar la creatividad desde lo femenino y la utilización de materias de trabajo mixtas. Para mi fue un evento grandioso donde estuve conectado con personas maravillosas y pude estar en contacto con la potente energía creativa femenina, de la cual tengo muchísimo que aprender, siendo la expresividad del ser lo primordial. La exposición estuvo dirigida y guiada por una reconocida artista local, la cual dio apreciaciones muy certeras acerca de lo que buscaban dichas mujeres al crear su arte. We had a few welcoming remarks from the host artist and a performance by each of the artists. We learned about their experiences, origins, and very personal insights into the meaning of art through female creativity. Afterward, we enjoyed a symphonic concert. Although everything was fantastic, I was amazed by a young violinist who performed the renowned song "My Way" on her violin, touching hearts with her melodies and virtuoso technique. After the concert, we were guided to the museum's corridor to inspect the works, followed by a brief description.
Tuvimos unas palabras de bienvenida por la artista anfitriona y la puesta en escena de cada una de las artistas, pudimos conocer sus experiencias, orígenes y apreciaciones muy personales acerca de lo que significa el arte desde la creatividad femenina. Después d eso disfrutamos de un concierto sinfónico, aunque todo estuvo genial yo quedé maravillado por una pequeña violinista, quien interpreto la reconocida canción My way con su violín, tocando los corazones con sus melodías y técnica virtuosa. Finalizado el concierto fuimos guiados al corredor del museo para ir observando las obras con una breve descripción

In the first few steps, I encountered these beauties. The artists here reveal a glimpse of their intimacy, through the abstract and the figurative. From both perspectives, I think they send out signals of their strong emotions, which are a roller coaster of experiences.
En los primeros pasos, me encontré con estas bellezas, las artistas aquí presente muestran un poco de su intimidad, a traves de lo abstracto y lo figurativo. Desde ambas perspectivas pienso que envían señales de sus fuertes emociones, que son una montaña rusa de experiencias.

Then, from what I could see, it was a zone of abstraction. I could perceive spirituality and connection, these colors, these shapes, like the circle, a perfect geometric form that permeates everything and connects everything. So too is this kind of mandala, which truly feels like an inner journey for anyone who has the opportunity to observe it.
Seguidamente, en lo que yo pude ver, era una zona de abstracción, yo pude percibir espiritualidad y conección, estos colores, estas formas, como el círculo, forma geométrica perfecta que todo lo recorre y todo lo conecta. Así también esta especie de mandala, que realmente parece un viaje al interior de quien tiene la oportunidad de observarla.

And here are my favorites. I can say the ones that generated the most empathy in me. First, the feminine creative power present in the painting of the mother holding her children, all accompanied by creation. Also, that double face, which reminds me of one conscious mind, which is our face to the outside world, and the other, the subconscious mind, where our darkest, most hidden self resides. And then there's that girl, who conveys a lament that touches my heart.
Y aquí estan mis favoritas, puedo decir las que generaron más empatía en mi. En primer lugar, el poder creativo femenino presente en el cuadro de la madre con sus hijos en brazos, acompañados todos por la creación. También ese rostro doble, que me recuerda una mente consciente que es nuestro rostro al mundo exterior, y la otra, la mente subconsciente, donde se encuentra nuestro ser más oscuro y oculto. Y leugo esta esa chica, quien me transmite un lamento que llega a mi corazón.

There was not only traditional painting, but also handicrafts, like this doll made from PVC pipes, which I was truly amazed at; I think it was a great piece. There were also cloth dolls and a beautifully decorated piece of wood, featuring small, everyday details.
No solo hubo arte tradicional de pintura, sino también arte manual, como esta muñeca, realizada con tubos de PVC queé muy maravillado al verda, creo que fue una gran obra. Así también unas muñecas de tela y una madera decorada de manera hermosa, con pequeños detalles cotidianos.

I think the exhibition was well received by many people. We were able to interact with the artists, learn about their work and their vision of art. I learned a lot; it was like understanding a new language that inspires me and keeps me going. There's nothing better than connecting with people who share your interests and passions; you learn a lot.
Creo que la exposición tuvo una buena recepción por parte de muchas personas, pudimos interactuar con las artistas, indagar acerca de sus obras y de la visión que tienen acerca del arte. Yo aprendí mucho, fue como entender un lenguaje nuevo que me llena de inspiración y me lleva a seguir adelante, no hay nada mejor que concectar con personas con tus mismos intereses y pasiones, se aprende muchísimo.

These were two other paintings that caught my attention. The first one struck me as odd because it has elements that could be considered technological, but which to us today might seem obsolete. Each element there has been surpassed by something a little more advanced. That got me thinking a lot; it would be like a kind of retrofuturism. On the other hand, this colorful painting, although with cheerful colors, illustrates a situation of loneliness, where the only life present is that of a cat, a creature that, although domestic, is totally independent and untamable.
Otras dos pinturas que llamaron mi atención fueron estas, la primera de ellas me pareció curiosa porque tiene elementos que podrían considerarse de tecnología, pero que para nosotros en la actualidad podría parecer obsoleta, cada elemento ahí presenta ha sido superado por otro un poco más avanzado, eso me dejó pensando muchísimo, sería como una especia de retrofuturismo. Por otra parte, este colorido cuadro, aunque con colores alegres, nos ilustra una situación de soledad, donde la única vida presente es la de un gato, criatura que aunque doméstica es totalmente independiente e indomable.
I hope you enjoyed the tour. Of course, there were many more works, but to talk about them all would require a book, hehe. I've mentioned what I considered to be the most impactful, and the reflection I can draw from all this is that women are wonderful beings, who throughout history have been denied expression and freedom, but have managed to find a way to be seen and felt. Women are energy, creation, and life, like all of nature on our planet. I hope you enjoyed it, and I'll say goodbye. Happy Women's Month to all the women of the world!
Espero les haya gustado el recorrido, por supuesto que habían mucho más obras, pero de hablar de todas necesitaría escribir un libro jeje. He comentado lo que a mi consideración fue más impactante de manera personal y la reflexión que puedo sacar de todo esto, es que la mujer es un ser maravilloso, a quien a través de la historia se le ha negado la expresión y la libertad, pero ha sabido encontrar el camino para hacerse ver y sentir, la mujer es energía, es creación y es vida como toda la naturaleza de nuestro planeta.
