Hola de nuevo, amigos. Me encuentro con ustedes para traerles en esta ocasión la elaboración de un portalapices hecho con tubos de papel higiénico; los mismos que suelen terminar en la basura cuando ya dejan de tener uso, que no es más que dar soporte al papel.

Y la manera en que vamos a comenzar con nuestro trabajo es de esta manera: al envase Pringles -el que se puede ver en la imagen está totalmente dañado- le vamos a extraer la base metálica, y para ello usaremos un cutter para recortar el cartón y poder así extraerlo con facilidad.

Después, pasamos a recortar lo tubos con tijera justamente en el medio (sentido vertical) para después juntarlos a algún envase que tenga las mismas medidas que el envase de Pringles; es decir, colocamos un tubo recortado, y luego, le agregamos otro trozo para completar la nueva dimensión que tendrá; por lo que las medidas serán 15,7 cm para el tubo recortado; y 7,3cm para el trozo anexo. Seguidamente, hacemos otra vez lo mismo en sentido contrario al primero al colocarle pegamento líquido (esto se hace para reforzar el mismo tubo). Y colocamos ligas de goma para evitar que se desprenden mientras se secan.
Then, we cut the tubes with scissors right in the middle (vertical direction) and then join them to some container that has the same measurements as the Pringles container; that is, we place a cutout tube, and then, we add another piece to complete the new dimension it will have; so the measurements will be 15.7cm for the cutout tube; and 7.3cm for the attached piece. Then, we do the same thing again in the opposite direction to the first one by placing liquid glue on it (this is done to reinforce the same tube). And we put rubber bands to prevent them from falling off while drying.
Una vez secado, pasamos a aplicar pegamento líquido en la base metálica para juntarlo al tubo de cartón. Y aprovechando las ligas de goma, se las colocamos en sentido vertical.
Once drying, we proceed to apply liquid glue on the metal base to attach it to the cardboard tube. And taking advantage of the rubber bands, we placed them vertically.
Y para adornar el portalapices le colocaremos recortes de revistas. Pegamos con pegamento en barra.
And to decorate the pencil holder we will put magazine clippings on it. We glue with glue stick.
Para finalizar, pasamos a cubrirlo con plástico transparente (trae pegamento incluido).

Ya con el último paso hay que tener mucho cuidado ya que de no hacerlo bien quedarán espacios con aire comprimido, y para quitarlos deberemos de usar una aguja al abrir pequeños orificios para extraer el aire.
