Saludos queridos miembros de la comunidad Hive Diy, una vez más sean bienvenidos a mi espacio creativo, deseo que su semana sea bendecida en salud, prosperidad, y muchas cosas buenas, esta semana estuve pensando en si realizar unas flores que sirvan para decorar el hogar, más sin embargo se me ocurrió otra idea también interesante.

Greetings, dear members of the Hive DIY community, once again welcome to my creative space. I hope your week is blessed with health, prosperity, and many good things. This week I was thinking about making some flowers to decorate my home, but another interesting idea came to me.

Decidí realizar hojas verdes que son ideales para las flores en limpiapipas, hace tiempo que quería comenzar a practicar las hojas, esto sería un paso para ir mejorando la técnica, por otra parte me gustaría mejorar en este particular y así en algún momento poder comenzar a armar un ramito de flores que ya tengo en mente, realicé tres tipos de hoja que ví en Pinterest Modelo hoja.

I decided to make green leaves that are ideal for the pipe cleaner flowers. I have wanted to start practicing leaves for a long time. This would be a step towards improving my technique. On the other hand, I would like to improve in this area and at some point be able to start putting together a bouquet of flowers that I already have in mind. I made three types of leaves that I saw on Pinterest model sheet.

Lo bueno es que para realizarlas no se necesita de silicón, y quería contarles que por fin encontré la cinta floral que tanto busqué, había en color marrón, blanco y verde, me pareció muy cómodo trabajar con ella ya que es ideal para este tipo de manualidades, y también para rosas eternas con cinta, tiene una textura super ligera y un poquito pegajosa pero todo bien. Sin más preámbulos comencemos con los materiales y el paso a paso.

The good thing is that you don't need silicone to make them, and I wanted to tell you that I finally found the floral tape I'd been looking for. It came in brown, white, and green. I found it very easy to work with since it's ideal for this type of craft, and also for eternal roses with ribbon. It has a super light texture and is a little sticky, but still good. Without further ado, let's begin with the materials and the step-by-step instructions.

Paso a paso / Step by step

El primer paso que voy a realizar para el primer modelo de hoja, será doblar el limpiapipas en la mitad, voy a medir 4 cm y realizamos dos giros, ahora con el limpiapipas sobrante voy a cubrir nuevamente y realizamos un segundo giro, nos quedará dos extremos, uno de ellos lo voy a pasar en medio hacia el otro lado y apretamos, luego cortamos el sobrante.

The first step I'm going to do for the first leaf model is to fold the pipe cleaner in half. I'm going to measure 4 cm and make two twists. Now, with the remaining pipe cleaner, I'm going to cover it again and make a second twist. We'll have two ends. I'm going to pass one of them in the middle to the other side and press it. Then, we cut off the excess.

De este voy a realizar nueve en total, ahora voy a unir de tres en tres y el limpiapipas sobrante lo voy a forrar cona cinta floral, ahora voy a ubicar las partes previamente preparadas en el palillo, y comenzamos a forrar con la cinta hasta unir las otras dos piezas, nos aseguramos de cubrir bien y de ser posible colocar otra capa de cinta.

I'm going to make nine of these in total. Now I'm going to join them three by three and I'm going to cover the leftover pipe cleaner with floral tape. Now I'm going to place the previously prepared parts on the toothpick, and we begin to cover them with tape until we join the other two pieces. We make sure to cover them well and, if possible, place another layer of tape.

Para el segundo modelo de hoja, esta será en forma de espiga, voy a enrollar dos limpiapipas en el palillo, ahora los vamos a extender un poco y los unimos, ahora tomaré dos limpiapipas y vamos a unirlo en la mitad, procedemos armar en el palillo de igual forma con la cinta floral.

For the second leaf model, this will be in the shape of a spike, I'm going to wrap two pipe cleaners around the toothpick, now we're going to extend them a little and join them, now I'll take two pipe cleaners and we're going to join them in the middle, we proceed to assemble them on the toothpick in the same way with the floral tape.

El tercer modelo de hoja si es un poco más complicado pero no tanto, voy a tomar un limpiapipas lo doblamos en la mitad damos forma curvada a cada extremos y unimos las puntas, en el centro voy a colocar un limpiapipas con un orificio.

The third leaf model is a little more complicated but not that much. I'm going to take a pipe cleaner, fold it in half, give each end a curved shape and join the tips together. In the center I'm going to place a pipe cleaner with a hole.

Ahora voy a empezar a rellenar la hoja pasando el limpiapipas a través del orificio vamos a seguir cubriendo hasta completar la primera mitad, luego pasamos al otro lado también, una vez que terminemos de cubrir por completo y ajustar los detalles del borde vamos a doblar la hoja en la mitad de manera que quede hacia dentro el centro y los bordes hacia fuera.

Now I'm going to start filling the sheet by passing the pipe cleaner through the hole. We're going to continue covering until we've completed the first half. Then we move on to the other side as well. Once we've finished covering it completely and adjusting the details of the edge, we're going to fold the sheet in half so that the center is facing inward and the edges are facing outward.

Luego de esto puedes aplicar un punto de silicón para que sostenga mejor, y cubrimos con la cinta floral, y así terminé estos tres modelos de hojas para flores en limpiapipas. El que más me costó realizar fue el tercero ya que lleva varios limpiapipas gasté aproximadamente diez en esta hoja, pero al final si quedó como esperaba.

After this, you can apply a dot of silicone to help it hold better, and cover it with floral tape. That's how I finished these three leaf designs for pipe cleaner flowers. The third one was the hardest to make, since it requires several pipe cleaners. I used about ten of them on this leaf, but in the end, it turned out just as I expected.
