I am a mother and now my new journey has started with my son , a journey of art and craft , diy for which I am so excited.
This week there is a culmination celebration in my kid school of letters T ,L ,I ,E ,H ,F . For that each child has dress up as something that begins with their assined letter. My kid assined with letter E . And
My kid's favourite is engine , so I quickly decide to make a engine for him . I searched for some idea and work with one .
I captured step by step pictures and all details i want to share with you all .
To make engine prop :
Material:
- Card board box
- Scissors
- cello tape
- Fevicol
- Blue colour paper sheet
- Red color acrylic colour
- Marker black color
- punching machine
- rope
HOW TO MAKE :
step 1 :
First took a cardboard box which is rectangle in shape and thick . Cut from up and down side . Make it a open box like this and cover all sides with the paper sheet . I used blue color, because it is a dark and attractive colour.
It took almost 40 minutes to cover all sides and 2 big sheets . Here the box is ready .
Step 2 :
Now it's time to make wheels of the train. For that again I used leftover card board and make circle of the size of cellotape , mark with that on cardboard and cut in the circle shape .
Now i paint the circle with the red aryclic color from both side.
After 10 minutes with the black marker i made these lines to give it a wheel design.
In all process my son and hubby helped me , and this way we spent some quality time together.
Step 3 :
It’s a while i draw some drawings so this time I print some designs of engine .
I make it front side .
And another sides i paste these stickers and one side write my son name and make some designs.
Step 4 :
Now with the help of fevicol i attached the wheels , 3 on left side and 3 on the right , like this :
Here you can see how attractive it is looking.
Now because it was a show and tell , so i made hanging . So my kid can carry it easily and give their first presentation .
With the help of punching machine we make the holls and tied that rope or cord .
And the engine is Ready . My kid like it so much and he played with it for some time .
It took almost 4 hours, but when we saw the happiness on my kid face , i feel so reflex and happy.
And in the school, everyone like it and his first presentation or fancy dress become good and memorable.
