 **Holis gente bonita|Hello beautiful people**🥰 Necesitaba urgente restaurar la cubierta de mi biblia ya que se rompió y era super incómodo usarla, así que se me ocurrió improvisar una cubierta con foami, aunque la verdad quería algo más resistente decidí que para resolver por el momento serviría, la verdad tengo planeado hacerle una cubierta mucho mejor en unos meses que sea mas resistente y que pueda decorar a mi gusto, como esta será provisional les confieso que me dió pereza decorarla, así que decidí ahorrar el material y el esfuerzo para cuando le haga la cubierta que realmente quiero. >I urgently needed to restore the cover of my bible since it broke and it was super uncomfortable to use it, so I decided to improvise a cover with foami, although I really wanted something more resistant I decided that it would work for the moment, the truth is I plan to make a much better cover in a few months that is more resistant and that I can decorate to my taste, as this will be provisional I confess that I was lazy to decorate it, so I decided to save the material and the effort for when I make the cover I really want. Aunque no es realmente la cubierta de mis sueños, debo admitir que no esta nada mal, cumple perfecto con su función y por lo menos me quito el estrés de usarla rota, cosa que era muy incómoda por cierto porque sentía a cada rato que se me iba terminar de romper, así que quede bastante satisfecha con el resultado y ahora tengo un poco más de tiempo para crear la portada de mis sueños. 🪄 >Although it's not really the cover of my dreams, I must admit that it's not bad at all, it fulfills its function perfectly and at least it took away the stress of using it broken, which was very uncomfortable by the way because I felt every now and then that it was going to break, so I was quite satisfied with the result and now I have a little more time to create the cover of my dreams. 🪄 Ya sin más charla, los invito a ver la restauración provicional de la cubierta de mi biblia. 🥰 Without further chitchat, I invite you to check out the additional restoration of my bible cover. 🥰  ✨**Materiales|Materials**✨  ✨**Paso a paso**|**Step-by-step**✨  Mi biblia tenía el lomo roto, era por eso que se habían despegado la portada y contraportada, mi idea original era hacerle una cubierta desde cero, pero por lo más rápido decidí improvisar restaurando el lomo y usando la portada y la contraportada original de la biblia. >My bible had a broken spine, that's why the front and back covers had peeled off, my original idea was to make a cover from scratch, but for the fastest way I decided to improvise by restoring the spine and using the original front and back covers of the bible. Para eso recorte un trozo de tela de unos jeans viejos 👖 con las medidas de mi Biblia por supuesto, para pegarlo en el lomo, para esto utilicé pega blanca la cual apliqué con la ayuda de un pincel para hacerlo de manera uniforme, como pueden ver deje tela de los lados y lo hice para poder pegar con más seguridad la portada y la contraportada a la biblia, estas las pegue con silicón caliente. >For this I cut a piece of fabric from some old jeans 👖 with the measurements of my Bible of course, to paste it on the spine, for this I used white glue which I applied with the help of a brush to do it evenly, as you can see I left some fabric on the sides and I did it to be able to stick more securely the front and back cover to the bible, these I glued with hot silicone.   Luego decidí forrarla con foami negro para tapar imperfecciones y que quedará mas resistente y protegida, por lo tando coloque mi biblia sobre el foami para medir exactamente cuánto iba a necesitar. Del lado izquierdo deje una pestaña de unos 3cm y del lado derecho deje una pestaña de 8cm aproximadamente la cual será la solapa de biblia. Luego de tener todo medido lo recorte. Para este recomiendo usar un color blanco para trazar las líneas y poder recortar bien, en mi caso al ser negro si no lo marco con algo que se vea no logro ver bien. >Then I decided to cover it with black foami to cover imperfections and to make it more resistant and protected, so I placed my bible on the foami to measure exactly how much I was going to need. On the left side I left a flap of about 3cm and on the right side I left a flap of about 8cm which will be the bible flap. After having everything measured I cut it out. For this I recommend using a white color to draw the lines and to be able to cut well, in my case to be black if I do not mark it with something that is seen I can not see well.   Pero antes de forrarla recorde que quería unos cuantos marcadores de lectura, así que improvise unos con cintas de razo que tenía por allí, las pegue con silicón caliente al lomo de la biblia antes de forrarla con el foami. >But before lining it, I remembered I wanted a few bookmarks, so I improvised some with some ribbons I had lying around and hot glued them to the spine of the bible before lining it with the foami.   Luego comencé a forrar la biblia, pegando primero la portada al foami, el silicón caliente solo lo coloque en las orillas del foami, en el lateral y también en la parte de arriba y de abajo. >Then I began to cover the bible, first gluing the cover to the foami, the hot silicone was only placed on the edges of the foami, on the side and also on the top and bottom.  Continúe pegando el foami al lomo y luego la contraportada, también pegue hacía adentro la pestaña de 3cm que había dejado antes. >Continue gluing the foami to the spine and then the back cover, also gluing in the 3cm tab I had left before.   Por último pero no menos importante, pegue, con silicón caliente también, el trozo de velcro a la solapa y a la portada. >Last but not least, glue, also with hot silicone, the piece of Velcro to the flap and the cover.  ¿El resultado? Una biblia como nueva, gracias a Dios, aunque no es lo más hermoso del mundo, es mejor que tener la biblia rota, que como les digo es super incómodo, así que me siento muy satisfecha con el resultado. 🥰🪄 >The result?
