Comenzamos el diseño con el boceto y siguiendo la regla de los círculos y líneas para referencias y, ya que la última vez que recuerdo a ese amigo es cuando era un niño, así que para estos diseños de personaje infantil se suele hacer la cabeza más grande que el cuerpo dependiendo de que estilo estés realizando.
Una vez haga la representación de lo más semejante posible, a la persona que quiero hacer, es momento de borrar y dejar líneas leves para poder pintar correctamente.

Como pueden apreciar aquí ya he terminado el boceto y dejo las sombras con grafito para poder marcarlas luego con tinta o marcador, aunque recomiendo borrar para que no afecte al marcador.
# COLOREANDO
Al momento de colorear siempre empiezo por el color base, el cual estoy acostumbrado a que sea un tono muy claro para luego ir oscureciendo donde podrían ir las sombras del mismo color y así sucesivamente.
Comienzo marcando los bordes de las zonas que voy a colorear porque los pintaré con marcadores y para su cabello usaré 2 tonos distintos para dar la sensación de luz y sombra.
El delineado es muy importante para dar forma a todo el proceso y que se entienda, aunque la brocha de mis marcadores no son tan anchas, logré emular el diseño y el pintado.
Para delinear el rostro usé un rosa muy fuerte que eso de líneas negras queda bien, pero las líneas de colores hacen lucir el diseño más suave.
Hay que saber jugar con los tonos que son el mismo color, solo que a veces más oscuros, pero en este caso la mayoría son muy claros.
Es cierto que casi siempre no poseemos todos los colores que quisiéramos, pero para eso está el ingenio artístico.

# COLORING
When coloring, I always start with the base color, which I'm used to using as a very light shade, then darken where the shadows of the same color might go, and so on.
I start by marking the edges of the areas I'm going to color because I'll be painting them with markers, and for her hair, I'll use two different shades to give the impression of light and shadow.
The outline is very important to give shape to the entire process and make it understandable. Although my marker brushes aren't that wide, I managed to emulate the design and the painting.
To outline the face, I used a very bright pink. The black lines look good, but the colored lines make the design look softer.
You have to know how to play with tones that are the same color, only sometimes darker, but in this case most are very light.
It is true that we almost always do not have all the colors we would like, but that is what artistic ingenuity is for.
