Hello dear friends of Holozing, I hope you are all doing well wherever you are. The weekend is just around the corner, and I want to share with you my latest drawing about the fascinating universe of Holozing. This time, I decided to make an evolution of Noxic, but this time as a beautiful fairy found in the forests and who can protect them from many dangers. I came up with the idea after watching an anime, and when I saw one of the protagonists, the idea simply popped into my head: to turn Noxic into a beautiful fairy. Here I briefly share how I did it.
Hola queridos amigos de Holozing, espero que se encuentren muy bien donde quiera que estén, ya comienza el fin de semana y yo quiero compartir con ustedes mi último dibujo acerca del fascinante universo de Holozing. En esta oportunidad se me ha ocurrido hacer una evolución de Noxic, pero esta vez como una linda hada que se encuentra en los bosques y puede protegerlos de muchos peligros. Se me ocurrió hacerlo así luego de estar viendo un anime, y al ver a una de las protagonistas la idea simplemente surgió de mi mente, convertir a Noxic en una bella hada, aquí te comparto brevemente como la hice.

I used white cardstock, and for the rough drawing, I used a 2H sketch pencil. I used this pencil because it's easy to erase and doesn't stain the paper. I've used a different kind of pencil, and when I have to erase the lines, the paper gets damaged by graphite stains. I made the sketch of our beautiful Fairy, and in one of her hands, I drew little Noxic, like a very natural butterfly.
Utilicé una cartulina de color blanco y para el boceto del dibujo utilicé un lápiz para boceto 2H, utilicé este lápiz porque es fácil de borrar y no compromete el papel de manera que pudiera mancharse. He utilizado otra clase de lápiz y cuando me toca borrar las líneas el papel se daña con manchas de grafito. Hice el boceto de nuestra bella Hada y en una de sus manos a la pequeña Noxic, como una mariposa muy natural.

I began painting the drawing with the eyes as a starting point, which I wanted to paint in cool colors reminiscent of the magic of the forest. So the lightest color I used was turquoise; it's a very beautiful and delicate color. And in the darker areas, I used blues and also purples.
Comencé a pintar el dibujo tomando como punto de partida los ojos, los cuales los quise pintar de colores fríos que recordaran la magia del bosque. De manera que el color más claro que utilicé fue el color verde turquesa, es un color muy bonito y delicado. Y en las partes más oscuras utilicé colores azules y también púrpura.

After that, I continued painting the facial skin. The color I usually use when drawing anime figures is light peach. It's a very light color that can be darkened with colors like orange and even red. I continue painting the face until it's complete, and you can see the first steps of the drawing.
Luego de eso seguí pintando la piel del rostro, el color que suelo utilizar cuando dibujo figuras de anime es el color durazno claro, es un color que tiene un tono muy claro y que se puede oscurecer con colores como naranja y tambien rojo. Así voy pintando el rostro hasta que quede completo, y se puede apreciar los primeros pasos del dibujo.

I painted the hair with a combination of colors, just like the eyes, starting with a turquoise base and then adding blue to add some purple lines. I wanted the eyes and hair to share the same tones, and I made the latter long—well, at least as long as the paper would reach, hehe.
El cabello lo pinté con una combinación de colores al igual que los ojos, comenzando con una base de verde turquesa y luego agregué azul para meter unas líneas con color púrpura. Quería que los ojos y el cabello compartieran los mismos tonos, y este último lo hice largo, bueno, al menos hasta donde alcanzara el papel jeje.

I continued the strokes with color, this time moving toward her clothes, or parts of them. I made the upper part look like a dress, giving it the appearance of a very long dress, like that of a real fairy. This can be seen in one of the sleeves, the one on her outstretched arm. The colors used are also similar to those I've used so far for her hair and eyes.
Continué los trazos con color esta vez dirigiendome hacia sus ropajes, o parte de ellos, hice la parte superior como la de un vestido, y que de la apariencia de ser un vestido muy largo, como el de una verdadera hada y esto se puede notar en una de las mangas, la del brazo que esta estirado. Los colores utilizados tambien son similares a los que hasta ahora he utilizado en el cabello y en sus ojos.

Now it's the turn of a little Noxic flying around our Fairy's palm, so I started adding some very colorful shades. She's the protagonist, so I wanted to see her colors appreciated in her flight. So I added orange, green, and purple, the colors that characterize this beautiful creature. Then I began blending the colors with mineral oil, thus blending the colors I'd used so far in the drawing. Finally, I outlined the entire drawing with a fine-tipped black marker.
Ahora es el turno de una pequeña Noxic que vuela alrededor de la palma de nuestra Hada, así que comencé a ponerle tonos bien coloridos, ella es la protagonista, así que deseaba ver que sus colores fueran apreciados en su vuelo. Así que fui agregando naranja, verde y púrpura, los colores que caracterizan a esta bella criatura. Despues comencé a difuminar los colores con aceite mineral y así mezclar los colores que utilizado hasta ahora en el dibujo. Por último, delinear todo el dibujo con marcador negro punta fina.
Another thing I did again before finishing the drawing was to start the whole process over again. I did this because I felt the colors weren't strong enough; I felt my drawing looked transparent, so by repeating the whole process, I felt it gained more volume. What did you think of the ending? What do you think of seeing Noxic transformed into a Fairy? Now the forest will be better protected and guarded, hehe. I really enjoyed making this female figure; I put a lot of emphasis on preserving the character's characteristics through color. For now, I'm saying goodbye and hope to return very soon.
Otra cosa que volví a hacer antes de dar por terminado el dibujo fue comenzar de nuevo todo el proceso anterior, esto lo hice porque sentí que los colores no eran lo suficientemente fuertes, sentía que me dibujo se veía transparente, así que con repetir todo el proceso sentí que obtuvo más volumen. ¿Qué les ha parecido el final? ¿Qué opinan de ver a Noxic convertida en un Hada? Ahora el bosque estará mejor protegido y vigilado jeje. Me gustó mucho ahcer esta figura femenina, le di mucho énfasis a conservar las carcaterísticas del personaje, a través del color. Por ahora me despido y espero volver muy pronto.
