Les cuento que estoy pasando una temporada de vacaciones con mis nietas, lo cual me ha dado la oportunidad de pasar largas horas jugando con ellas, tienen una cantidad de juegos que no conozco y nos divertimos mucho, ellas enseñándome y yo aprendiendo, ya les iré comentando algunas experiencias.
También tienen juegos que conozco y la he pasado muy bien sobre todo porque son muy diestras y si me descuido me ganan cualquier partida, incluso en los rompecabezas, donde comenzamos uno que me resultó tan complicado que apenas si logré colocar como 10 piezas. En está ocasión les comento sobre un día de Puzzles.
Comenzamos armando un colorido y poco convencional puzzle de un lobo, diría que cada pieza es distinta y de entrada el único referente que tienes son los colores, la verdad es que no lograba encajar piezas.
Me emocionó mucho ver como ellas iban avanzando, para las tres el rompecabezas era nuevo, pues recientemente se los regalaron y aunque no había manera de hacer el borde, como normalmente comienzas a armar, ellas fueron encontrando la manera.
La mayor se propuso hacer la parte de abajo, la menor, la cabeza y yo solo separaba piezas por colores, poco a poco la imagen fue encontrando su forma y después de tres horas concentradas y dedicadas logramos finalizar.
En el proceso hubo satisfacciones, frustración, superación y logros, quedaron tan emocionadas que comenzaron a sacar los rompecabezas que tenían para seguir armando y de allí salió la propuesta de hacer una exposición para mostrársela a su mamá cuando llegará del trabajo.
De pronto mi hijo, que ya está de vacaciones, se unió a la actividad, entre risas y un poco de competencia fuimos uniendo piezas de cada juego que sacaban.
Cuando terminamos con los fáciles, la nieta mayor, se animó a sacar, lo que llamó su tesoro, un rompecabezas de 1000 piezas que pidió de regalo de cumpleaños con una bella imagen de una mamá tigre con sus cachorros.
Quedé muy sorprendida con el estuche para guardarlo, de tal manera que cuándo nos cansamos lo recogió nuevamente, ,algo muy práctico para mantener el orden del hogar, conservar el trabajo realizado y poder darle continuidad cuando lo desees, una maravilla.
Para cerrar la actividad preparamos la exhibición y ellas se prepararon para la exposición donde cada una, por turnos, explicaría las características del puzzle, su dificultad para armarlo y datos sobre lo que representa cada pieza, por ejemplo, una habló de la película “Encantó” y la otra de “Frozen”.
Cual abuela orgullosa puedo decir que lo hicieron muy bien y que ambas poseen cualidades y habilidades histriónicas muy buenas, por cierto que la mayor ha aprendido a trabajar con Canva y me hizo la portada de este post.

We started by putting together a colorful and unconventional puzzle of a wolf. I would say that each piece is different, and at first, the only reference you have is the colors. The truth is that I couldn't fit the pieces together.
I was very excited to see how they were progressing. The puzzle was new to all three of them, as they had recently been given it as a gift, and although there was no way to do the border, which is how you normally start putting a puzzle together, they figured out a way.
The oldest decided to do the bottom part, the youngest did the head, and I just separated the pieces by color. Little by little, the image took shape, and after three hours of concentrated and dedicated work, we managed to finish it.
The process involved satisfaction, frustration, overcoming challenges, and achievements. They were so excited that they began to take out the puzzles they had to continue putting them together, and that's when they came up with the idea of putting together an exhibition to show their mother when she got home from work.
Suddenly, my son, who is already on vacation, joined in the activity. Amid laughter and a bit of competition, we put together pieces from each game they took out.
When we finished with the easy ones, the older granddaughter decided to take out what she called her treasure, a 1,000-piece puzzle she had asked for as a birthday present with a beautiful image of a mother tiger with her cubs.
I was very surprised by the storage case, so when we got tired, she picked it up again, which is very practical for keeping the house tidy, preserving the work done, and being able to continue when you want to. It's wonderful.
To conclude the activity, we prepared the exhibition and they got ready for the presentation, where each one, in turn, would explain the characteristics of the puzzle, how difficult it was to put together, and information about what each piece represented. For example, one talked about the movie “Enchanted” and the other about “Frozen.”
As a proud grandmother, I can say that they did very well and that both have very good acting skills and abilities. By the way, the older one has learned to work with Canva and made the cover for this post.
