Estaba hace unos días sentado, descansando después de un rato arando la tierra bajo mis higueras, y fue que tomé esta fotografía. Apenas hacía viento y un suave sol calentaba lo justo como para sentirse reconfortado. Saco el tabaco de liar y lío un cigarrillo. Lo enciendo y el humo que desprendo se dispersa presto tras la primera calada... Es tiempo de reflexión, tiempo de haiku:

I was sitting a few days ago, resting after some time ploughing the soil under my fig trees, and I took this photograph. It was barely windy and the gentle sun was just warm enough to feel comforted. I take out my rolling tobacco and roll a cigarette. I light it and the smoke disperses quickly after the first puff... It's time for reflection, time for haiku:
Cálido y suave
es el sol de mi tierra.
Calor de invierno.
