Greetings to all @freecompliments friends I hope you are all healthy and happy. It is a pleasure for me to be with you here. Although I don't write constantly, I read the posts here and the wake up call that @freecompliments made regarding the carelessness of a certain post really shook me. We hear a lot about the importance of taking care of ourselves. But why should we, after all, and how can we take care of ourselves when we often lead such a fast-paced life? Self-care involves all the activities we choose to do on a regular basis that help maintain or improve our Psychological Health and Well-being. When we set aside time for activities that make us feel good, relaxed and happy, we are taking care of ourselves. Healthy choices are also forms of self-care: eating healthy, maintaining regular physical activity and good sleep habits. Self-care can also involve being with and talking to people we like and, ultimately, seeking professional help, gaining space and time for ourselves. Self-care increases our productivity and energy, our confidence and self-esteem. It prevents and reduces stress and anxiety and helps us make decisions and stay healthy. It increases our well-being and therefore also increases our feelings of happiness, confidence and involvement with the world and with others. It helps us to overcome adversity and difficult times. It makes us more resilient and less vulnerable. We must be vigilant invest more in our self-care is something that is not good to neglect that is why it is recommended: ✓Make a list of all the activities that make us feel good, relaxed and happy. ✓Foster positive relationships with family and friends. ✓Talk about how we feel. ✓Maintaining a balance in our daily relationships. ✓Making healthy choices. ✓ And above all and one of the most important. ask for help Let us strive to make our heart more and more kind, dedicating and caring for us and for those who cannot pay us, because they are not in the best conditions. Many times we seek to be rewarded for what we do, we want a prize, a merit; then we receive human merits and applause, human recognition. We even get upset when we do something for others and they do not thank us, do not praise us for what we do, and so on.
