Greetings to everyone in the Vibes Web 3 community! Today I'm joining you here to share a new cover song to practice for the 39th weekly Vibes 3 community contest. This time, and in keeping with this week's theme (legendary movie soundtracks), I've chosen an iconic song for it: "Eye of the Tiger" by the American band "Survivor," which was used in the 1982 film "Rocky III." It's impossible not to know who Rocky is (even if you're not a fan of this film series), and even less so to recognize the iconic "Eye of the Tiger" song (almost an anthem), which generates an energy, strength, and frenzy that motivates anyone to lace up their shoes and run out into the street.

Rocky is one of those films that went down in history for a reason; it's pure heart, soul, and will embodied by the gentleman, Sylvester Stallone. It hits hard because Rocky's story is practically a reflection of Stallone's life, who started from the bottom and had only one idea in mind that he wanted to achieve. For Rocky, it was to be a great boxer, and for Stallone, it was to achieve success after this film (being an actor, a filmmaker)... and boy did he achieve it. Tooth and nail, Stallone showed that opportunities are out there for those who want to fight for them and make them their own. The message of the song "Eye of the Tiger," which was explicitly composed for the film "Rocky III" by Frankie Sullivan and Jim Peterik, follows the lines of Rocky's ideals and principles: keep your mind on the goal, fight for it, and give your best in every area. Although jokingly, i would say it also speaks to us about the value of love (that is, ultimately, Rocky's final reflection). Quite elemental, which is why both the song and the film inspired (and continue to inspire) many people. Here is my interpretation of this song; I hope you enjoy it. ¡Saludos a todos en la comunidad de Vibes Web 3! El día de hoy me uno por aquí para compartir con ustedes un nuevo cover musical para practicar en el concurso semanal #39 de la comunidad de Vibes 3. En esta oportunidad y con referencia a la temática propuesta para esta semana (soundtrack de películas legendarias), elegí una canción icónica para ello y se trata de "Eye of the Tiger" de la banda estadounidense "Survivor", el cual fue usado para la película de "Rocky III" del año 1982. Es imposible no saber quién es Rocky (así no seas un amante de esta saga de películas) y mucho menos, no poder reconocer la emblematica canción de "Eye of Tiger" (casi un himno), la cual genera una energía, una fuerza y un frenesí que motiva a cualquiera a ponerse los zapatos y salir a correr a la calle.

Rocky es una de esas películas que pasaron a la historia por algo; es puro corazón, alma y voluntad encarnada por el señor, Sylvester Stallone. Pega duro porque la historia de Rocky es prácticamente un reflejo de la vida de Stallone, quién empezó desde abajo y llevaba consigo solo una idea en mente que deseaba poder llevar a cabo. Para Rocky era ser un gran boxeador y para Stallone era lograr el éxito tras esta película (ser actor, cineasta)... y vaya que lo consiguió. Con uñas y dientes, Stallone demostró que las oportunidades están ahí fuera para quién desea luchar por ellas y hacerlas suyas. El mensaje de la canción "Eye of the Tiger", que fue explícitamente compuesta para la película de "Rocky III" por Frankie Sullivan y Jim Peterik, sigue las líneas de los ideales y principios de Rocky: mantener la mente en la meta, luchar por ello y dar lo mejor de uno en cada área. Aunque en modo de broma yo diría que también nos habla del valor del amor (finalmente esa es la reflexión final de Rocky). Bastante elemental, por lo que tanto la canción cómo la película inspiraron (y siguen inspirando) a muchas personas. He aquí mi interpretación de esta canción, espero que la disfruten.
