Hace aproximadamente una semana me preguntaba qué otro videojuego para mi xbox 360 podía descargar de Gamestorrents aunque la verdad, empecé buscando como instalar en mi xbox un emulador de N64 pues aun en la Xbox tenemos la leyenda Fable nada como recordar a Zelda y su ocarina del tiempo y me pillé varios tutoriales pero ninguno me ayudó así que bueno, si de casualidad alguno de ustedes conocen un buen emulador N64 para la xbox déjenme saberlo en los comentarios ja ja ja... >_About a week ago, I was wondering what other video game I could download from gamestorrents for my Xbox 360, but to be honest, I started looking for how to install an N64 emulator on my Xbox because even on the Xbox we have the legendary Fable, nothing like remembering Zelda and her ocarina of time, and I found several tutorials but none of them helped me, so well, if any of you happen to know of a good N64 emulator for the Xbox, let me know in the comments, ha ha ha..._

Cómo la misión principal por ahora ha sido fallida me fui a Gamestorrents para ver qué podía descargar para jugar algo distinto, algo que no hubiera jugado antes pero que en realidad me llamara la atención y bueno, aunque específicamente no buscaba un juego de acción me he llevado una gran sorpresa con Spec Ops: The Line. No sé, ni entiendo cómo no escuché antes de este videojuego o por qué no tuvo ese impulso como por ejemplo Call of duty pues la verdad no tiene nada que envidiar es un verdadero placer conocer la historia y los personajes de este fantástico juego.

Since my main mission has failed for now, I went to Gametorren to see what I could download to play something different, something I hadn't played before but that really caught my attention. Well, although I wasn't specifically looking for an action game, I was pleasantly surprised by Spec Ops: The Line. I don't know, I don't understand how I hadn't heard of this video game before or why it didn't have the same momentum as Call of Duty, for example, because the truth is that it has nothing to envy. It's a real pleasure to get to know the story and characters of this fantastic game.

Pensé que sería un shooter más del montón y me equivoqué en grande dado que el videojuego es jodidamente traumático. Le explico, estamos acostumbrados de que siempre terminamos un juego y acaba con un final feliz pues en este caso no es tanto así, la historia se centra en lo que hay que vivir en una guerra y más allá de eso. Definitivamente la historia simplemente te atrapa al punto que te sientes un soldado más.

I thought it would be just another run-of-the-mill shooter, but I was way off, because this video game is fucking traumatic. Let me explain: we're used to always finishing a game with a happy ending, but in this case, that's not really the case. The story focuses on what it's like to live through a war and beyond. The story definitely grabs you to the point where you feel like you're just another soldier.

Cómo les decía, no es un clásico Cod acá cada bala malgastada puede costarte la vida. Su jugabilidad muy disfrutable aun cuando a veces te puede sacar de tus casillas pues de verdad, cada bala usada cuenta, la banda sonora no podría pegar más con cada situación y los gráficos son muy buenos para el año en que se publicó. O sea, de verdad no había escuchado antes de Spec Ops: The Line pero nunca es tarde para ser parte de una gran aventura como esta. ^{[Image source](https://www.zeit.de/digital/games/2012-06/spec-ops-the-line)} >_As I was saying, this isn't a classic Call of Duty; here, every wasted bullet can cost you your life. The gameplay is very enjoyable, even though it can sometimes drive you crazy because, really, every bullet used counts. The soundtrack couldn't be more fitting for each situation, and the graphics are very good for the year it was released. I mean, I really hadn't heard of Spec Ops: The Line before, but it's never too late to be part of a great adventure like this._

El videojuego fue lanzado tanto para Xbox como para PS3 así que si tienes la posibilidad de jugarlo te digo que vale la pena en todos los sentidos. Es un juego que poco a poco te envuelve hasta que los finales te quedan dando vueltas en la cabeza ja ja ja... Pero sí, bastante interesante para un género sobreexplotado como lo han sido los shooter. Si me pides puntuación te digo que de 10/10 aun cuando me recuerda un poco a Gears of War pero aún sigue este teniendo una sólida trama.

The video game was released for both Xbox and PS3, so if you have the chance to play it, I can tell you that it's worth it in every way. It's a game that slowly draws you in until the ending is still spinning around in your head, ha ha ha... But yes, it's quite interesting for an overexploited genre like shooters. If you ask me for a score, I'd give it a 10/10, even though it reminds me a bit of Gears of War, but it still has a solid plot.
