The spectacular Super Nintendo whose catalog of video games is one of the best in the industry and in it were born many sagas that continue today, others that served and serve as inspiration for many current games and some games from a few years ago, also has in its huge catalog many video games that never left Japan, so logically they are totally unknown games, but many of them, thanks to many people discovered them by chance and gradually became better known, to the point that the fans themselves made their respective translations so that many people could know and play them. One of those many games, which despite not being as well known as others, is a title that is strongly inspired by the classic games of the huge saga The Legend Of Zelda, as it is not only inspired by its graphic aspect, but also in its mechanics are a clear sign that the developers of this peculiar, but good game, took many elements of one of the longest running and beloved sagas of the industry, but at the same time, it is a game with its own artistic style and charisma, so personally I consider it an excellent video game.
**Today's Retro Review is about: Ganpuru: Gunman's Proof.**

Graphically this game is beautiful, colorful, with very nice designs and with enough details in most of the scenarios, with a graphic style very similar to that seen in the classic [The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past]( https://peakd.com/gaming/@freddbrito/retro-review-the-legend-of-zelda-a-link-to-the-past ) , of which several years ago I made its respective review, Ganpuru: Gunman's Proof is a timeless game in terms of graphics and art in general. It is a game that today is maintained quite well and this is one of the reasons why this game is called as the "The Legend Of Zelda: A Link To The Past, but with guns", because not only in terms of graphics and art there is much similarity, but also in the gameplay aspect and with its game mechanics, there is much more similarity, but in terms of gameplay aspect I will talk about it later. The character designs are simple, but well designed enough to look good on screen, being set in a place that recreates the "Wild West" we will be able to see elements referring to this type of setting, such as taverns, stables, horses and houses with structures belonging to the cowboys. But throughout our adventure in this world, we will be able to see other types of scenarios, especially dungeons, since like The Legend Of Zelda, Ganpuru: Gunman's Proof there are plenty of dungeons to explore. Returning to the subject of the character designs, these have very nice designs, but they are able to make quite funny expressions that gives a lot of personality to the game, they are not totally static designs and this is really a quite appropriate addition to a game of this style, in a way it makes the characters feel full of "life". https://64.media.tumblr.com/b6d2b79c7bdf90979e463ce10ac55279/tumblr_mwfx2iRtjO1roqda3o1_500.gifv []( https://obscurevideogames.tumblr.com/tagged/Gunman%27s-Proof )
The music is equally outstanding in this game, very varied music, with soft tones in the right places and situations and melodies much more focused on adventure, action and even mystery in those moments where it is most needed to emphasize a specific moment, but in general terms, Ganpuru: Gunman's Proof has a set of very good and adequate melodies for the type of game it is and that fits very well with all the theme that this represents. As well as the sound effects that help to create a better atmosphere and as decoration on the stage, are also of good quality. Ganpuru: Gunman's Proof is essentially an adventure game with certain RPG elements, just like The Legend Of Zelda game I already mentioned, but unlike Link who uses a sword as his main weapon (as well as other varieties of weapons), our main character in this game uses firearms as his main weapon to fight and eliminate enemies. Ganpuru: Gunman's Proof, unlike the games of The Legend Of Zelda saga in which it is inspired, focuses much more on action, being this one of the strangest aspects of this game, because despite being inspired by the saga of The Legend Of Zelda, Ganpuru: Gunman's Proof does not have any type of puzzles to solve, being this one of the most present aspects in the long-lived saga of the savior of Hyrule and that this type of gameplay is not in this game is quite strange. Another aspect about Ganpuru: Gunman's Proof is that there isn't or almost not much to explore, you practically find everything you need easily, so you lose a little bit of the fun factor of being able to find certain hidden areas with important and special items. As I mentioned, our main character has a firearm that has infinite ammunition, but as we progress we will find other types of weapons with greater range and damage that will help us a lot in this adventure. It is not a difficult game, in fact I consider it quite easy because it is quite linear unlike other games of the same genre, but it is due to this lack of exploration, difficulty not so high and variability in the dungeons that does not encourage much to re-playability, however despite these negative aspects, this is a game that I consider quite good and interesting, as it poses a rather curious world and with certain levels of humor (and family violence) very entertaining. Ganpuru: Gunman's Proof or also known as Gunple: Gunman's Proof is a game worth playing, which does not reach the height of games of The Legend Of Zelda saga, but it is certainly an excellent game "tribute" to this long-lived saga that seems to never end.
