I won’t lie to you, these days have been a bit hard, and I thank my friends for helping me forget about all that. I’ve been streaming, but it’s not the same as writing and making my posts. I really enjoy writing more than just streaming and having nobody watch.
I’ll take advantage of this Tuesday to dedicate this post to the special theme of the @playerhive program. Today’s topic is:

What game would you like to play if you had the chance!
As soon as I read the topic it seemed simple. I felt I could write something interesting without thinking too much. But now, as I write this, I really don’t know which game to talk about. What game would I like to play if I had the chance? I ask myself that and can’t find anything. A little voice tells me “GTA 6,” but honestly, I’m not as excited as others about that game. It will probably be crazy and very fun, but I’m not desperate to play it.
Incredible, if I had asked myself this same question a couple of years ago, I probably would have known what to answer in seconds. As a kid, I discovered video games a little late, and even though I had plenty to play, I finished them one after another and always wanted more. Later, at school with my friends, we already knew which games were coming thanks to E3 (it was always a topic of conversation). I remember how excited we got about every announcement, and I thought: I WANT TO PLAY THAT!
At home I didn’t have cable TV, so I waited for the chance to go to my grandma’s house to watch television. My favorite channel was Animax, and sometimes they showed a program that featured amazing video games that left me feeling like this gif:
“I WANT TO PLAY THAT.”
I don’t know if it’s because I’ve grown up and video games just aren’t the same for me anymore. Almost every time I’ve been able to, I’ve written about how I feel about them, how I get unmotivated, how sometimes I don’t feel like playing, or how I’ve managed to get that excitement back. But without a doubt, something has changed… I no longer know how to answer myself when I ask: What do I want to play?
If there’s one answer, it’s that I’ll keep playing until I die. For some, that’s silly, a waste of time — and maybe they’re even right. But for me, video games will always be important, and I hope I’ll always be able to enjoy them, even if today I don’t know what I want to play. The good thing is there are so many titles; I guess it would be worse to have only a few games and play them all until there’s nothing left, like when I was a kid.
I hope my post manages to fit into the theme, even though it isn’t focused on one specific game. I really don’t know. You who are reading this, would you be able to answer that question? No les voy a mentir, estos días han sido un poco duros y doy gracias a mis amigos por ayudarme a olvidar todo eso. He estado stremeando, pero no es lo mismo que escribir y hacer mis posts. Realmente disfruto más escribir que solo stremear y que nadie me vea.

¡Qué juego quisieras jugar si tuvieras la posibilidad!
Apenas leí la temática me pareció simple, sentí que podría escribir algo interesante sin pensar demasiado. Pero ahora, mientras escribo esto, realmente no sé sobre qué juego hablar. ¿Qué juego quisiera jugar si tuviera la posibilidad? Me hago esa pregunta y no encuentro nada. Una pequeña voz me dice “GTA 6”, pero honestamente no estoy tan emocionado como otros con ese juego. Probablemente sea una locura y muy divertido, pero no estoy desesperado por jugarlo.
Increíble, si me hubiera hecho esta misma pregunta hace un par de años, seguramente habría sabido qué responder en segundos. De niño conocí los videojuegos un poco tarde, y aunque tenía muchos para jugar, los terminaba uno tras otro y siempre quería más. Luego en la escuela junto con mis amigos ya sabíamos qué juegos venían por el E3 (siempre era un tema de conversación). Recuerdo que nos emocionábamos muchísimo con cada anuncio y pensaba: ¡QUIERO JUGAR ESO!
En casa no tenía televisión por cable, así que esperaba la oportunidad de ir a casa de mi abuela para ver televisión. Mi canal favorito era Animax y a veces pasaban un programa que mostraba varios videojuegos increíbles que me dejaban como este gif:
“YO QUIERO JUGAR ESO.”
No sé si es porque he crecido y los videojuegos ya no son lo mismo para mí. Casi siempre que he podido he escrito sobre cómo me siento respecto a ellos, cómo me desmotivo, cómo a veces no tengo ganas de jugar o cómo he recuperado esas ganas. Pero sin duda algo pasa… ya no sé qué responderme cuando me pregunto: ¿Qué quiero jugar?
Si hay una respuesta, es que seguiré jugando hasta que muera. Para algunos eso es una tontería, una pérdida de tiempo, puede que incluso tengan razón. Pero para mí los videojuegos siempre serán importantes, y ojalá siempre pueda disfrutar de ellos, aunque hoy no sepa qué quiero jugar. Lo bueno es que hay muchos títulos, supongo que peor sería tener apenas juegos y jugarlos todos hasta el punto de no tener que jugar como de niño.
Espero que mi post logre entrar en la temática, aunque no esté centrado en un juego en específico. Realmente no lo sé.
