Warborne, could this game be the Albion Killer? [ENG - ESP]

This week I haven’t been able to play much Warborne since its release. On the first day, I put in 6–7 hours and hit the level cap, which was around level 20–22. Today I decided to play a bit and ended up climbing past level 30. Right now, I’m almost level 32 and I’ve already died plenty of times. If there’s one thing this game stands out for, it’s that almost all of the content is PvP and I really like that. The downside is that it can feel unfair sometimes. In this game there are different divided factions, and each has its own advantages, both in PvE and PvP. The negative part is that you’ll probably never be able to build a friendship with someone from an enemy faction, since by default, any color that isn’t your faction is your enemy. Kind of racist, I know (just kidding).  As always, I decided to play as a Healer, but just like in Albion Online, in this game you can be whatever you want, just in a different way. The armor and clothing system is very similar to Albion Online. And well, I mention Albion a lot because it’s currently one of Warborne’s main competitors. The game was inspired by Albion, but with a more futuristic theme and many other differences. The best part is that my Healer is literally a mage. His heals are nerfed, but he hits pretty hard. I’ve noticed I can clear camps like butter, I just need to be careful with my skill rotations to avoid dying, since wearing mage gear makes me super fragile. I’m sure you know what I mean. ## Does this game have the potential to surpass Albion Online? That’s the question many Albion players ask, and honestly, I can answer it with my eyes closed: NO! It can’t surpass Albion at least not for now. The game is really strange: the animations feel unfinished, and sometimes it even looks like monsters bug out when they use their teleport ability. It looks as if the monster has a lag attack. The game still has a lot to polish and improve, but the good thing is that it’s headed in the right direction. If they improved the animations, added more content, and made it less repetitive, I think this game could be on par, maybe just a bit below Albion. I don’t think it could surpass it for years. Another thing is that I don’t really like its aesthetics. I don’t dislike them, but they just don’t convince me. Many times I even struggle to understand what’s going on, since it’s not always clear. I think this game is both for tryhard players coming from Albion, who have spent many years playing the same thing and want a change of pace, and for casual players. Even though it has so much PvP and revolves around faction progress and group play, I feel like it still has something that makes it enjoyable for more laid-back gamers.  For now, playing for more than an hour feels heavy. Although today was the first time I played with the guild, and at least we had a good time dying together. In an hour we’ll have a war, so we’ll probably get our baby butts wiped. Maybe we’ll even win the battle, who knows.  Something I really did like is that the game lets you play with multiple characters, kind of like League of Legends. So it becomes this strange mix between LoL and Albion, where the character who is naturally a Healer can be equipped however you want, literally creating your own monster.  I’ll keep you updated in the future to share how it goes for me and if the game evolves for the better. El primer día le metí 6-7 horas y llegué al cap de nivel, que era nivel 20-22. Hoy decidí jugar un rato y terminé subiendo a más de nivel 30. Actualmente estoy casi en nivel 32 y ya he muerto muchas veces. Si en algo destaca este juego, es que casi todo el contenido es PvP, y eso me gusta bastante. Lo malo es que puede llegar a ser injusto algunas veces. En este juego hay distintas facciones divididas y cada una tiene ventajas, tanto en PvE como en PvP. Lo negativo es que probablemente nunca llegues a entablar una amistad con alguien de la facción enemiga, ya que por defecto cualquier color que no sea el de tu facción es enemigo. Algo racista, lo sé (es broma).  Como siempre, he decidido jugar como Healer, pero al igual que en Albion Online, en este juego puedes ser lo que quieras, solo que de una forma diferente. La rama de armaduras y ropas es muy parecida a la de Albion Online. Y bueno, menciono mucho a Albion porque este es uno de sus principales competidores actualmente. Warborne se inspiró en Albion, aunque ya con una temática más futurista y muchas otras diferencias. Lo mejor de todo es que mi Healer literalmente es un mago. Sus curaciones están nerfeadas, pero golpea bastante bien. He visto que puedo limpiar los campamentos como mantequilla, solo debo tener cuidado de lanzar mis rotaciones de habilidades correctamente para evitar morir, ya que al tener ropa de mago soy muy frágil. De seguro sabes de lo que hablo. ## ¿Tiene este juego la posibilidad de superar a Albion Online? Esta es la pregunta que varios jugadores de Albion se hacen, y la verdad es que puedo responder con los ojos cerrados: ¡NO! No puede superar a Albion, al menos de momento. El juego es muy raro: las animaciones están poco trabajadas y a veces parece que los monstruos se buguean al usar su habilidad de teleport. Se ve como si el monstruo tuviera un ataque de lag. Al juego le falta mucho por pulir y mejorar, pero lo bueno es que está bien encaminado. Si mejoraran las animaciones, añadieran más contenido y evitaran que se vuelva tan repetitivo, creo que este juego podría estar a la par, tal vez un poco por debajo de Albion. No creo que pueda superarlo en años. Otra cosa es que su estética no me gusta demasiado. No me desagrada, pero simplemente no me convence. Muchas veces incluso me cuesta distinguir lo que está pasando, ya que no se entiende del todo bien. Creo que este juego es tanto para jugadores tryhard que vienen de Albion y ya llevan muchos años jugando lo mismo y quieren cambiar de aires, como para jugadores casuales. Aunque tenga tanto PvP y gire en torno al progreso de facciones y al juego en grupo, siento que también tiene algo que lo hace disfrutable para quienes juegan más relajado.  De momento, jugarlo durante más de una hora se hace pesado. Aunque hoy fue la primera vez que jugué con el gremio, y al menos pasamos un buen rato muriendo. En una hora tendremos una guerra, así que probablemente nos limpien el trasero como a un bebé. Tal vez incluso ganemos la batalla, ya veremos.  Algo que sí me gustó mucho es que el juego te da la posibilidad de jugar con varios personajes, algo así como en League of Legends. Entonces se hace una mezcla extraña entre LoL y Albion, donde al personaje que de por sí es Healer puedes equiparlo como quieras, creando literalmente a tu propio monstruo.  Los seguiré actualizando en el futuro para contar cómo me va y si el juego evoluciona para bien.
