Hello hivers! I was raised by a farmer and since I was young I always had encounter of trees, fruits, vegetables and herbs. Since I was young, I was able to know how to plant something in the backyard. Wherever we live we always had a plenty backyard. I think this is the fourth time we transfered a house location but what I really loved about it is that wherever we go we always plant something on the backyard. And our crops are coming from our kitchen like we buy mangoes and the seeds of it will be planted outside. That's how we came up grown plants around us. So I'm going to show you what's around our house.
This is the small guava tree in front of our house. Though it's a small tree but it bear guava fruit many times. The fruit is also tiny but it's sweet. My mother always get the young leaves of it every time she went to town and she ate it while he's hiking towards the highway.
This is a citrus and it is right in the entrance of our house. Last year was it's first fruits and it was so sour but we love sour taste more than sweet that even if it's still green we love to harvest it. It has lots of fruits and the day it came yellow in color we made a juice out of it. I remembered that was new years day that my brother are climbing on to it to get some to make some juice.
This is the guyabano tree. This has lots of fruits and we sometimes sell it because my neighbor likes it. It's a healthy fruit and also its little fruit like what is seen in the picture as well as the leaves are also herbal medicine in town.
This is the avocado tree at the back of our house. This is already two years and it is not yet yielding but I think k it's still young for a navocado tree to bear fruit. At our past house, we have so many avocadoes and my brother had harvested avocadoes there already.
This one is a rambutan. This is very old like it's about two to three years already but it doesn't bear a fruit. The same as our old house we have a rambutan tree and it only gives flowers but no fruit at all.
This is the marang tree. The fruit of this is very delicious but it only takes three hours to last when you open the ripe fruit then it will be rotten. It's incredibly interesting. We have lots of this tree around our house.
This is the coconut tree. This fruit tree is the most outnumbered trees at home. This is also my father's main source of income. The copra made from the cooked brown coconut. But the young green coconuts are the best for salad.
Papaya at home has so many varieties. It comes from small to large, circle to oval, tall tree and a short one.
This one is locally called as boungon. This is a pomela, red in color and this is very delicious. No bitterness of this fruit. This comes from white and red varieties but since the white one are not so good in the market that's why my father planted more red ones.
This one is a durian tree. It's quite far from the house since it's dangerous when the fruit is ripe. It will eventually fall and it's dangerous for kids or even guests who are not aware the presence of this fruit so we planted it little farway from the house. They said it's delicious but for me, I don't like it much not tasted more of it.. This is good if this is a candy hahaha!
That's all for today hivers, thank you so much for reading my blogs, voting for it and for Reblogging it. I appreciate it so much.
