An Update of My Little Garden

Have a wonderful weekend to each and everyone in HIVE Community...🙂

My content for today is about updating some of my newly replanted plants in our little garden. For me, if you have the passion in planting no matter how small the space you have, you really want to utilize it as a little garden.

This is what we have... a very small garden in which we can only have plants in a pot. I am just so grateful for my husband and my daughter @tegoshei who are really supportive for my passion in planting.
In our little garden we have some ornamental plants and some vegetables.

My husband made a wooden plant holder to utilize and maximize the small space we have. The pictures of the plants above were taken a few years ago. I think that was during pandemic.
I was a bit sad because I wasn't able to plant again after harvesting those beautiful lettuce because of my health condition and because of bad weather. It was really hot for a long time. But lately, we started planting again little by little. I want to show you and share with you how we planted some of the plants that we have now.

These two guava plants were the result of my daughter @tegoshei and I keeping the seeds from a big guava fruit given by our kind friend. We put the guava seeds in a tissue paper, wet the tissue and put it inside a disposable container.

We observed it for a month and as we opened it, there was some roots already. We let it stay there for some more days until they are stable and transfered them individually in a small plastic cup with soil and covered it for a week or two before transfering them again into these bigger containers.

This is kalamansi. We planted this using the same process as the guava plants.

These malabar spinach plants were planted by my husband. We grew them using the stems from the ingredients that I used in my cooking.

This one is an aloe vera plant. I have a friend who sometimes asks me some aloe vera leaves because she uses them as a medicine for hair loss.

These are the tomatoes and bell pepper we planted weeks ago which I shared on my previous blog. They have been growing nicely.

Here are some seedlings of bell pepper again from the seeds I scattered last time. We will transfer them in a separate pot when they grow even more in the coming days.

And lastly I was so happy seeing these beautiful flowers of our cattleya and dancing lady orchids.

No matter how small my garden is and how few the plants I have, I'm already truly delighted and grateful.

That would be all for today and I hope I can make you smile a little with these flowers.

Thank you so much for stopping by! I'll share more garden updates someday. God bless us all..🙏❣
