Our stay in Laguna last December gave us several opportunities to travel and visit beautiful places in Luzon. One of those is the Pililia Wind Farm in Pililia, Rizal. Rizal is a province near Laguna.
The time was just right when a friend of ours let us borrow his pick up truck. It served as our ride to the wind farm. We drove several kilometers to the place. The weather was perfect. We started our trip past 2 o'clock in the afternoon and arrived there after an hour. With us were my husband's parents and one of his brother and his son.
The wind farm is consist of 27 Wind Turbines with an aggregate capacity of 54 Megawatts (MW).
Wind turbine is a device that converts the wind's kinetic energy to electrical energy.
This is the closest spot that we got to the turbines. The place was closed due to the pandemic. The security guards did not allow visitors to get inside its premises.
But still we found another spot to view the turbines.
I took several photos of the view. Magnificent! I can't get enough of it through photos, I also took videos. :D

It was worth the visit. The wind there was cold. The view was breathtaking. Mother nature at its finest. It made me think to relocate to a place like this. Away from the busy streets of the city. Simple living with nature. Just a wish for now.
I hope you enjoy the view through my photos and video. If you happen to visit Rizal, Philippines, I recommend you pay it a visit.
Thank you for traveling with us. Until next time!
Love, Met
