One of my favorite purchases this year is a bluetooth speaker as I use it daily. I used to have a very cheap one which only worked without problems for at least a year. Next thing I knew, the charging port was already loose which made it difficult to charge. I get frustrated every time I have to charge it and I think it's no longer worth it due to the inconvenience it brings.
Searching up online for a bluetooth speaker with good quality but still affordable, I found the brand Edifier.
I read all the reviews of this specific product and majority of it were positive. I waited for it to go on sale so I was able to get it for less than Php500 ($8.61 USD).
It was delivered few days after and I'm just so excited because I can finally let go of my defective speaker. Actually, I've been eyeing this speaker since my old speaker began to fail charging continuously.
What initially captured my interest for this speaker was its retro design. It kind of looks like a tiny casette player with the design of the buttons above. They also have a couple of colors to choose from and of course, I chose the color I like most!
First thing I noticed as I unboxed it was its size. It's really small! As you can see on the photo, it fits and even looks small on my small hand! This is really good especially when travelling as it won't take much space in your bag. It also comes with a strap which you can wear on your wrist or use to hang the speaker.
The bottom of the speaker also have pads attached to prevent it from sliding or slipping off the surface. Yes, you can let it stand on a flat surface as well!
And unlike my previous speaker, the Edifier uses a USB-C port for charging and the cord attaches securely when charging. Yup, no more charging issues! Whew!
Of course, don't forget to read the manual to learn how to operate it properly and to know the indicators when it needs charging or is already fully charged.
Most of all, the most important thing we're looking for when purchasing a speaker is the sound quality. I've read that it has a great sound quality despite its small size. People pointed out the clear sound and base. And true enough, I was amazed and satisfied with the quality of its sound. This sounds much better compared to my previous speaker. The music sounds fuller and you can hear the base as well. Nice!
Edifier also has an app where you can customize the settings to better fit your sound preference. I still haven't used the app but I think it's really cool that they give their users freedom to customize.
Here's an audio sample of the speaker. There's a fan and ac beside me while recording and the tv was also on which may have affected the recording but overall, this speaker is really good for its size and price!
I think this bluetooth speaker is going to last long. It also plays for around 8 hours if I'm not mistaken. Lol. Sorry, I'm not sure how long the charge really last because it takes a while before I charge it again.
Do I recommend this bluetooth speaker? Definitely, yasss!!!
Thanks for reading! 💚
