I have a few afternoons that have become special to me. The advice to always photograph during the golden hour makes good memories and good photos accumulate, but incredibly they all occupy a special place. There is no afternoon on the coast in which I do not remember Lorena. I was able to convince her to meet one day in the Marina Hemingway area to take some photos. My weakness for light eyes is always what forces me to take the first step and try to convince the person to let me photograph them. The results that afternoon, at least for me, exceeded expectations, and those eyes have a special place among my favorite sunsets.
