This is a part of the Neckar Valley under a blanket of fog.
Small villages are beneath it.
The river Neckar is meandering through the valley contributing to the emergence of the fog by releasing moisture that leads to a drop in temperature and air pressure along the mountain slope. Condensation is happening and fog emerges.
In comparison a shot with a slightly different angle back in spring. You can see the little village of "Neckarhäuserhof".
The fog was stunning to observe. It is not that often that a thick blanket like this is laying over the valley.
Standing above you feel like in a different world, wondering how it feels like down below.
