As we were strolling across the National Mall last week, I spotted a commotion ahead. At first I couldn't tell what was going on, just some music getting pumped through a loudspeaker and a crowd of people with their backs turned to the line of food trucks.
As we got closer we discovered this guy putting on a show. I initially though he was calling himself the Rubber Band Man for some inexplicable reason.
He spotted me snapping shots of him and quickly focused his performance upon us. Eventually realized that Rubber Band Man was the name of the song he was singing.
I put a little money in his tip jar and the next thing we know he's dancing a jig.
