there are wings
and pieces of wings
blowing across the cold cement
in the cold breeze
there are dreams
and pieces of dreams
that
one day
just
woke up
and the breeze scattered them everywhere
a cliché lies waiting
in the late afternoon sunbreak
of broken wings
and broken dreams
through a broken blanket of clouds
it sheds light
on the mosaic
I have created
with the pieces I managed to collect
before the wind blew the rest away
