Lhokseumawe's city reservoir was built in 2010 and is known as the Pusong Reservoir. This 60-hectare area was developed by the local government to control flooding in the city center and as a tourist destination also.
The road around the reservoir is approximately 5 kilometers long and encircles the reservoir. From here, you can see the city's coastline, separated by an estuary. The Barisan Mountains are clearly visible on the southern side of the reservoir.
To the north, you can see the reservoir area and the city's iconic Islamic Center mosque. Besides being a tourist destination, residents use this area as a sports center, where they can jogging or take leisurely walks around the reservoir while taking in the beautiful views.
I tried to capture some images and make them as entries in this Monomad Challenge. Hopefully these images will get support from friends in the Black and White community.
In this Monomad Challenge contest, I want to invite my friends to see some of Black and White photos caught by my camera; "Around the Downtown Reservoir", the pictures presented to my friends in Black and white Community ๐
