This is my annual week in Cornwall I come down every year with some friends at the end of September when all the kids have gone back to school. The weather is not usually too bad but this year it’s been exceptionally good, blue skys every day.
So first of all a trip to Gwithian beach
And Godrevy Lighthouse.
See what in mean about the blue skys its been like this every day.
There are always seals basking on the beach at Mutton Cove.
Then a walk back and some more photos of the lighthouse.
From Godrevy you can look across to Hayle and St Ives.
Yes the sky really was that blue.
One of the nice things about this part of Cornwall is you are only about 15 minutes drove from both the North and south coasts so a trip to St Mounts Bay is always on the cards.
With the tide out you can walk across the causeway to St Michael’s Mount.
Unfortunately lots of other people had the same idea.
The Castle was far too crowded to walk round so best wander back to Marazion for a pint at the local pub.
Marazion is a nice little village with more than it’s share of art gallery’s and a very quirky little museum but in the summer it is very crowded.
And the sky is still blue on this side.
