My last day in Auckland so what better way to spend it than a photo walk around Auckland Marina between the rain showers. This part of the marina is the mooring sport for the racing yachts used by Explore a company that provide experience rides for tourists.
They have a few boats parked up in this basin.
Also in this area is the Auckland Maritime Museum. Which is well worth a visit.
One of the more interesting attractions are the heritage sailing boats that the museum runs and you can book a hour or so sail if that’s what floats your boat.
One thing I wasn’t expecting to see were footwear disinfectant stations these are by the local ferry ![L1010065.JPG](https://files.peakd.com/file/peakd-hive/diveratt/EoyNz5hbJ2oVxRNJhc5s5bmPVatbYWFqDJma9FW8CxFgfxVCruMWQiBvNNiasEnWpAM.JPG,
Looking back from the marina you can see the Auckland Sky Tower a prominent local land mark that you can see from all over the city, Bungee jumping anyone?
The public section of the marina had some very nice looking yachts of all sizes.
