Hello Black and White Photography!
Today I am excited to present a series of street photography. All the photographs were taken in Athens the capital of Greece. Athens offers a vibrant street photography scene as the city is home to a population of 6 million. The city center in particular is a fascinating place for photography offering a glimpse into the true character of the city.

Zappeion of Athens. The lady in question was at the Zappeion. I watched her for a long time as she walked by. I wanted to help her with the bags because she seemed quite elderly and I was sure she didn’t have a place to live. At some point she stops places the bags down and sits at this spot. She takes some coins out of her pocket and begins to count them. I approach her and ask if everything is okay. She calmly looks at me and responds: What do you want?
