Jessi is the girlfriend of a friend, and she has ended up developing a friendship with us. She was one of the first people to come and be photographed for the "Fe de Vida" project, and I am deeply grateful to her because in my country, it's normal for people to perceive photography as something that should be given away for free.

Jessi is a girl I genuinely like. We had a conversation that night where she was telling me she wanted to get back into something physical like dance or theater, and we shared a merengue song where we laughed a lot because I got all the way to the floor and improvised in a way that surprised her. She wasn't aware that I had been practicing contemporary dance for a while.
>Jessi es una chica que la verdad me cae muy bien. Tuvimos una conversación esa noche donde me estaba diciendo que quería volver a practicar algo físico como danza o teatro, y compartimos una canción de merengue donde nos reímos muchísimo porque yo llegué hasta el suelo e improvisé de una forma que le sorprendió, y es que ella no estaba al tanto de que yo llevaba un rato practicando danza contemporánea.
After that, we talked on another occasion, and she told me she had started practicing aerial silks (this dance that is practiced with suspended strips of fabric), which pleased and delighted me. However, I haven't had the chance to talk with her about it properly yet. I really liked these photos, and I hope you like them too.
>Después de eso, hablamos en otra ocasión y me contó que empezó a practicar telas (esta danza que se practica con unas tiras de tela suspendidas), lo cual me agradó mucho y me contentó, pero no he tenido la chance de conversar mejor eso con ella.
