I met Hob through a friend we have in common, and he turned out to be a very pleasant person to talk to. He likes music and jamming, things that I like quite a bit too, so we had a conversation about that.

I recently found a podcast where musicians jam while talking about music, and their jamming sessions are what I like the most. Looking back at other content or experiences I’ve enjoyed, I see that improvisation is a resource I use very regularly, and I quite like it.

Improvisation is an art that can be underestimated. Here in my country, there's a saying that can be viewed negatively, which is "como va viniendo vamos viendo" (roughly, "as it comes, we'll see"). This means that you solve the problem when you have to, but before that, it's not necessary, more or less.

In my life, I've encountered many situations where I've had to improvise, and in fact, it's what I usually do most in my job. But it's a skill that can be frightening for many people, while for me, improvisation is natural.
