Attenborough Nature Reserve is an interesting place to go for a walk. There are different length walks that you can pick from, and footpaths are good but can sometimes get muddy. We could do with some nice days to dry everything out. At least parking was cheap, so it's wasn’t extortionate like some places.

The heron made an appearance but was well hidden amongst the reeds and difficult to spot at times.

I wasn't sure what this was in the water, but the shed didn't look very healthy!

We had a couple of hours walking around the lake, which was filled with cormorants, swans, and other water fowl.

This is my entry to the #monomad contest.
