La incertidumbre estará presente a cada paso de nuestro respirar. Todas nuestras identidades pueden soslayar esa emoción sin dejar de negar lo que han sido sus acciones en el pasado. Es una reflexión de aceptación, lo que fuimos no se puede sostener para lo nuevo. Los cambios que abordamos con convencimiento propio suelen ser irreversibles; no hay marcha atrás cuando estamos convencidos de algo que anhelamos. En muchos momentos de la vida hay fragmentos vividos que no encajan dentro de algo en específico. El tiempo y el enfoque van construyendo una armonía desde todas esas piezas.
> _Uncertainty will be present with every breath we take. All our identities can sidestep that emotion without denying what their actions have been in the past. It is a reflection of acceptance; what we were cannot be sustained for what is new. The changes we tackle with conviction are often irreversible; there is no turning back when we are convinced of something we long for. In many moments of life, there are fragments of experiences that do not fit into anything specific. Time and focus build harmony from all these pieces._

Así como ocurre en la vida, ocurre con las fotos que presento en esta publicación. Son imágenes aparentemente aisladas, sin un concepto único que las abrace. Fragmentos aislados darán algún significado y sentido a través de reflexiones escritas. La fotografía blanco y negro no necesita adornar nada, solo refleja y revela sin distracciones de color lo que hay de fondo. Este retrato silente me hace recordar que, aunque la mente divague en el tiempo, y el aquí y ahora parezca confuso, existe un convencimiento interno que guía los pasos y la transformación. La realidad, en ocasiones se vuelve compleja, es la barrera del terror que nos toca atravesar para acortar la distancia de la identidad que estamos dejando ir con la que visualizamos.
> _Just as in life, so it is with the photos I present in this publication. They are seemingly isolated images, without a single concept that embraces them. Isolated fragments will give some meaning and sense through written reflections. Black and white photography does not need to embellish anything, it simply reflects and reveals what is in the background without the distraction of colour. This silent portrait reminds me that, even though the mind wanders through time, and the here and now seems confusing, there is an inner conviction that guides our steps and transformation. Reality sometimes becomes complex; it is the barrier of terror that we must cross to shorten the distance between the identity we are letting go of and the one we visualise._
El convencimiento propio es el pilar que nos hará traspasar por lo "imposible". Es complejo que no haya resistencia en esta parte del proceso, es una situación necesaria para poder confrontar nuestros más complejos pensamientos y así poder desarrollar una identidad más firme dentro de un nuevo concepto propio que pueda sostenerse en el tiempo. La certeza es el acto más rebelde para la construcción de una nueva identidad, es la nueva confianza de sí mismo que se va internalizando día tras día en cada acto. Tampoco es necesario perderse en el camino a raíz de la incertidumbre, la responsabilidad es base para recordarnos y entender el aprendizaje desde lo que se lleva construido.
> _Self-belief is the pillar that will enable us to overcome the ‘impossible’. It is difficult to avoid resistance at this stage of the process, but it is a necessary situation in order to confront our most complex thoughts and thus develop a stronger identity within a new concept of ourselves that can be sustained over time. Certainty is the most rebellious act in the construction of a new identity; it is the new self-confidence that is internalised day after day in every action. Nor is it necessary to lose oneself along the way due to uncertainty; responsibility is the basis for remembering and understanding learning from what has been built._
Cada día dejamos de ser lo que somos y construimos una nueva versión de nosotros. Todo permanece en movimiento, incluso lo inamovible. Los pensamientos también pueden ser alterados a voluntad propia para construir una nueva identidad; para esas transformaciones inevitables. Un pensamiento certero puede ser la clave para propulsar el crecimiento. Cada fotografía presentada revela mi voz invisible, que dice mucho más que todo lo que he escrito. Son semillas que van germinando y se van revelando en su justa medida.
> _Every day we cease to be who we are and build a new version of ourselves. Everything remains in motion, even the immovable. Thoughts can also be altered at will to build a new identity; for those inevitable transformations. An accurate thought can be the key to propelling growth. Each photograph presented reveals my invisible voice, which says much more than anything I have written. They are seeds that germinate and reveal themselves in their own time._
