Whenever I plan a trip, it includes the Indian Himalayas and that is why I love mountains. Here, even today everything is the same as it was in the beginning. Being here gives me a unique feeling of being alive.
Some of the mountains seen in today's post are from Himachal Pradesh and some are from Ladakh. Sarchu Peak whose height is 5300 meters, Yunam Peak which is 6240 meters high, Tanglang La, the highest mountain pass between Manali-Leh whose height is 5319 meters and the shining 6000 meter high peak. And moving towards Rumsey, colorful mountains full of minerals which are not visible in these black and white photos.
From these mountains, paths lead to higher mountains and when we reach the higher mountains, these higher mountains show us the path to higher mountains. And while being a part of this process, I once summited Stok Kangri Peak, which is 6200 meters high. That day the weather was very bad and it was snowing, I was the only one who summited that day. My body had become as cold as a dead person but I received the blessings of the high mountains that day.
