They are children in my village who are demonstrating a traditional Acehnese musical instrument called Rapai. This percussion instrument is played without the use of a stick and only with the hands. Scene after scene, they acted this morning in a small hut in the middle of a rice field.
Occasionally, their eyeballs glanced at me when directing it. But I think they are happy to be photographed with this traditional musical instrument. Because it is common for children where we play with this instrument and they are all very friendly and happy to be photographed.
