***English Version*** ### **The City Center** When I want to walk through a quiet and beautiful space, I immediately think of the blocks that make up the historic center of Caracas, as it is a place full of architectural contrasts, where ancient elements go hand in hand with modern constructions, thus defining a characteristic that is very typical of the Venezuelan capital, where we can also enjoy natural landscapes that have managed to survive the passage of time, making the urban environment a much more pleasant and lively place. >***Versión en Español*** >### **El Centro De La Ciudad** >Cuando busco caminar por un espacio tranquilo y bello de forma inmediata pienso en las cuadras que componen el casco histórico de la ciudad de Caracas, puesto que se trata de un lugar lleno de contrastes arquitectónicos, en donde elementos antiguos se dan la mano con construcciones modernas, definiendo de esta manera una característica muy propia de la capital venezolana, en donde también podemos disfrutar de paisajes naturales que han logrado sobrevivir al paso de los años, convirtiendo al entorno urbano en un lugar mucho más agradable y lleno de vida.  *Design Made with Canva*    The center of Caracas has become a commercial space par excellence, and in keeping with colonial tradition, these blocks continue to house much of the political, economic, and religious power that drives society. Thus, we can understand that this is an area with a lot of social activity, where we will always find people walking, children playing around the plaza, and a bustle where, without meaning to, we can find out the latest news of the day within the city and, therefore, the country in general. >El centro de Caracas se ha convertido en un espacio comercial por excelencia, además siguiendo la tradición colonial, estas cuadras siguen albergando en su interior buena parte del poder político, económico y religioso que mueve a la sociedad, y de esta forma como podemos entender que se trata que una zona con mucho movimiento social, en donde siempre encontraremos personas caminando, niños jugando alrededor de la plaza y un bullicio en donde sin quererlo, nos podremos enterar de las últimas noticias que marca en el día dentro de la ciudad y, por lo tanto, del país en general.      As I have told you many times, the city center is my favorite place in the capital because, despite its hustle and bustle, here we will always find the ideal place to relax for a while and enjoy the little moments that life gives us.
