"PEDRO" (PETER) - PORTRAITS IN THE COUNTRYSIDE || MONOMAD || ENG-ESP

**H**ello Black and White friends at #Hive.... A few days ago I went out to take pictures of birds in the countryside, riding my old bike about 5 kilometres south of town in the middle of plantations and fields. >**H**ola amigos de Blanco y Negro en #Hive... Días atrás salí a hacer fotografías de aves en el campo, yéndome en mi vieja bicicleta unos 5 kilómetros al sur de pueblo en plena zona de plantaciones y campos. As I was on the side of the road the owner of one of the plantations stopped driving his vehicle and kindly invited me to visit his farm and take photos there. >Estando yo al borde del camino se detuvo el dueño de una de las plantaciones manejando su vehículo y amablemente me invitó a visitar su hacienda y hacer fotos allí. So, in order not to overwhelm you with too many lines, the important thing is the photos. I will sum up by saying that I followed the owner of the hacienda to his property and there I received a pleasant surprise: there was my old friend Pedro tending the gardens of the house!. >Entonces, para no agobiarlos con demasiadas lineas, pues lo importante son las fotos. Resumo diciendo que me fui siguiendo al propietario de la hacienda hasta sus predios y estando allí recibí una grata sorpresa: ¡Allí estaba mi viejo amigo Pedro cuidando los jardines de la casa!. So I took the opportunity to say hello to Pedro and take some photos, which I share here as an entry for today's #monomad challenge. >Entonces aproveché de saludar a Pedro y hacer algunas fotos, las cuales comparto aquí como entrada para el reto #monomad de hoy.  More than forty years ago, when I was a boy of about nine years old, Pedro worked as a labourer in my uncle's building materials shop. Pedro was a grown man then and very famous for his brute strength. It seems that despite his more than seventy years of age, he still retains great strength and health. >Más de cuarenta años atrás, siendo yo un niño de unos nueve años, Pedro trabajaba como obrero en la venta de materiales de construcción de mi tío. Entonces ya Pedro era un hombre adulto y muy famoso por tener gran fuerza bruta. Parece que a pesar de sus más de setenta años de edad, aún él conserva gran fortaleza y mucha salud.  Seeing my friend Pedro again after several years without seeing him has been an evocative experience of my childhood years. Pedro remembers perfectly well when I used to go and rummage through the sand and stones that were piled up in my uncle's material deposits. Then Pedro had to do everything he could to prevent me from making a mess or having an accident there... Pedro still remembers those years with great amusement. >Ver nuevamente a mi amigo Pedro después de varios años sin verle, me ha resultado una experiencia evocadora acerca de mis años de niño. Pedro recuerda perfectamente cuando yo solía ir a hurgar en la arena y las piedras que se amontonaban en los depósitos de materiales de mi tío. Entonces Pedro tenía que evitar por todos los medios que yo hiciese un desastre o que yo sufriese algún accidente allí... Pedro aún recuerda con mucha gracia aquellos años.  To make Peter remain unsmiling is an almost impossible task...! ;-) So in this photo above you can see his more usual and natural expression. Pedro is a very good-natured man, always ready to bring a smile to everyone. >¡Hacer que Pedro permanezca sin sonreír es una tarea casi algo imposible! ;-) ... Así que en esta foto de arriba se puede observar su expresión más usual y natural. Pedro es un hombre de muy buen carácter, siempre dispuesto a brindar una sonrisa a todos.
