SOMETIMES CATS, SOMETIMES NOT - MONOMAD - PHOTOGRAPHY STORIES || ENG-ESP || (10 pics)

August started with a nice morning of clear skies and a slight cool breeze coming from the east... So as soon as I noticed the sun on the horizon, I decided to take my camera, put my old macro lens on it and go to the countryside to photograph some insects...But I ended up wandering the streets of the village photographing cats and people!... 😂😺📸

Agosto comenzó con una linda mañana de cielos despejados y una leve brisa fresca viniendo del este... Así que apenas observé el sol en el horizonte, decidí tomar mi cámara, colocarle mi viejo lente macro e irme al campo a fotografiar algunos insectos...¡Pero terminé deambulando en las calles del pueblo fotografiando gatos y personas!... 😂😺📸

As usual, there were a lot of cats 😼 everywhere on the streets (also dogs 🐶 but I left those photos for a next post) so I dedicated myself to photographing them at pleasure... Interestingly, I noticed that the mood of people on the streets was very different from each other. Then I remembered that in recent days elections were held to choose municipal government officials. And this happens here in my village every time we have elections, those whose preferred candidates turned out to be winners, seem to be "too" happy. But, on the contrary, the followers of the losing faction, tend to demonstrate their dissatisfaction openly on the streets of the village... That's how immature we still are for this politics thing! 🤷‍♂😐... Well, but the truth is that in a few weeks, everyone's mood will return to its usual levels and the much-vaunted local elections will be forgotten as usual. Meanwhile, I just try not to interact with those I see in a bad mood and I take advantage of taking photos of others who look more friendly than usual 😂📷... You can learn a lot of things as a street photographer, even a little urban psychology!

Como de costumbre, en las calles había un montón de gatos 😼 en todas partes (también perros 🐶 pero dejé esas fotos para un siguiente post) así que me dediqué a fotografiarlos a placer... Curiosamente, noté que el humor de las personas en las calles era muy distinto entre unos y otros. Entonces recordé que en días pasados se realizaron elecciones para escoger los funcionarios del gobierno municipal. Y esto pasa aquí en mi pueblo cada vez que tenemos elecciones, aquellos cuyos candidatos de preferencia resultaron ganadores, parecen estar "demasiado" contentos. Pero, por el contrario, los seguidores del la facción perdedora, tienden a demostrar su insatisfacción abiertamente en las calles del pueblo... ¡Así de inmaduros seguimos siendo para esto de la política! 🤷‍♂😐... Bién, pero lo cierto es que dentro de algunas semanas, el humor de todos volverá a sus niveles de siempre y las tan cacareadas elecciones locales quedarán olvidadas como de costumbre. Mientras tanto, yo simplemente procuro no interactuar con aquellos que veo de mal humor y aprovecho de hacer fotos a otros quienes lucen más amistoso de lo habitual 😂📷... ¡de todo se aprende como fotógrafo callejero, incluso un poco de psicología urbana!
