In my town these days it seems that it will never stop raining. But this is not something new, every year with the arrival of the rainy season this usually happens and then all of us here are limited by the constant downpours. So due to this weather condition I have been spending more time than usual with my nose in my recent photographic archives and, believe me, I have found a lot of pictures which I had overlooked and in some cases totally forgotten about... Thanks to the continuous rains these photographs are now processed in black and white and ready to be shared with you here on #Hive!... En mi pueblo estos días parece que no parará de llover nunca. Pero esto no es algo nuevo, cada año con la llegada de la temporada de lluvias esto suele suceder y entonces todos aquí nos vemos limitados por la caída de constantes aguaceros. Así que debido a esta condición climática he estado más tiempo delo acostumbrado con mis narices metidas en mis archivos fotográficos recientes y, créanme, he encontrado un montón de fotografías las cuales había pasado por alto y en algunos casos olvidado totalmente... ¡Gracias a las continuas lluvias estas fotografías están ahora procesadas en blanco y negro y listas para ser compartidas con ustedes aquí en #Hive!... ¡Por favor, continúen adelante en esta publicación y disfruten de mi trabajo de hoy para ustedes queridos amigos!

I'm missing going out wandering in my streets carrying my camera. So as soon as we have better weather I will go out and satiate my desire to do that... But it is undeniable that rummaging through my RAW files has something fascinating and also I feel rewarded for having processed photos which in other circumstances would have been left out of my photographic work, because the ritual with which I usually make my records and work on them is sometimes too fast to take everything into account. So these days of calm imposed by the weather have been in a way a necessary and fruitful blessing, photographically speaking...
Estoy extrañando salir a deambular en mis calles llevando mí cámara. Así que apenas tengamos mejor clima saldré y saciaré mis ganas de hacer eso... Pero es innegable que hurgar en mir archivos RAW tiene algo fascinante y además me siento recompensado por tener procesadas fotos las cuales en otras circunstancias hubiesen quedado fuera de mi trabajo fotográfico, pues el rito con el cual suelo hacer mis registros y trabajar em ellos es a veces demasiado rápido para tomar todo en cuenta. Así que estos días de calma impuesta por el clima han sido en cierta manera una bendición necesaria y fructífera fotográficamente hablando...

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL NOTE: Photographs captured with my Nikon D7000 DSLR camera in RAW format, then processed in Adobe Camera RAW for adjustments regarding light, sharpening, contrast and depth... They were then exported to JGP format on which minor modifications such as straightening and adding watermarks were carried out using PhotoScape v3.7
NOTA TÉCNICA ADICIONAL: Fotografias capturadas con mi cámara DSLR Nikon D7000 en formato RAW, procesadas posteriormente en Adobe Camera RAW para ajustes relativos a luz, afilado, contraste y profundidad... Luego fueron exportadas a formato JGP sobre el cual se llevaron a cabo modificaciones menores como enderezado y agregado de marcas de agua usando PhotoScape v3.7
