I'm back today with a new set of black and white photos. This time, I was the photographer tasked with documenting an orchestral music concert performed by none other than incredibly talented children from an art school in my city.
The concert had a fantasy theme, and they played songs from animated movies by Disney, Pixar, and others. The children dressed up according to the theme, and each had their opportunity to come to the front and perform a solo for the entire audience:
Hoy estoy de vuelta con un nuevo set de fotografias en blanco y negro, en esta ocasión fui el fotógrafo encargado de documentar un concierto de musica orquestal realizado por nada mas y nada menos que unos niños con muchisimo talento que pertenecen a una escuela de arte de mi ciudad.
Este concierto tenia la tematica de fantasia y tocaron canciones de peliculas animadas de disney, pixar y otras mas, los niños se disfrazaron de acuerdo a la tematica y cada uno tuvo su oportunidad de pasar al frente y hacer un solo frente a toda la audiencia:

The entire audience was moved and amazed by the talent of these children!
Toda la audiencia escuchaba enternecida y maravillada por el talento de estos niños!
At one point, I had the chance to go up on stage and take photos from the sides, a bit closer. I liked these photos more:
En cierto momento tuve la oportunidad de subirle al escenario y hacer fotos un poco mas cerca desde los lados, estas fotos me gustaron mas:
The venue had very low light conditions, so I had to use the only light lens I have, a 50mm at f/1.8, and push the ISO up to 3200 to get a good exposure.
At one point, a little girl was brought on stage as a special guest. She sang a beautiful song and had a lovely voice!
Las condiciones del lugar eran de muy poca luz asi que tuve que usar el unico lente luminoso que tengo, un 50mm a 1.8/f y el iso hasta 3200 para poder tener buena exposicion...
En cierto momento subieron al escenario a una niña como invitada especial, ella cantó una cancion muy bonita y tenia una voz hermosa!
Their teacher was always on stage playing the piano, and he was in charge of guiding all the children during the concert. Of course, I took photos of him as well, and I dare say these were my favorite photos!
En el escenario siempre estuvo su profesor tocando el piano, el fué el encargado de guiar a todos los niños durante el concierto, obviamente a el tambien les hice fotos y incluso me atrevo a decir que estas fueron mis fotos favoritas!!
After a week full of work, this concert felt like a hug from life. I enjoyed it immensely and it allowed me to relax for an hour, listening to beautiful music while doing what I love most, taking photos!

Despues de una semana llena de trabajo este concierto fue como un abrazo de la vida, lo disfruté muchisimo y me permitió relajarme durante 1 hora escuchando musica muy bonita mientras hacia lo que mas me gusta hacer!
