hello! The bride sat surrounded by mirrors, brushes, and soft voices. Every stroke of makeup and every touch of hair seemed like a ritual, a pause before the storm of celebration. There was a silence in her eyes, the kind you only see when someone knows that the world is about to change. >La novia se sentaba rodeada de espejos, brochas y voces suaves. Cada trazo de maquillaje y cada toque en el peinado parecían un ritual, una pausa antes de la tormenta de la fiesta. Había un silencio en su mirada, de esos que solo se ven cuando alguien sabe que el mundo está a punto de cambiar.  I watched how her hands rested on her lap, sometimes playing with the ring that was still missing from her finger. The laughter of friends filled the room, but she was already somewhere else—walking in her thoughts, remembering, maybe even imagining how the first dance would feel. >Veía cómo sus manos descansaban en el regazo, a veces jugando con ese anillo que todavía no estaba en su dedo. Las risas de las amigas llenaban el cuarto, pero ella ya estaba en otro sitio—caminando entre sus pensamientos, recordando, quizás imaginando cómo se sentiría ese primer baile.  For me, it was like witnessing the last chapter of one story and the opening of another. The makeup and the hairstyle weren’t just for beauty; they were armor, preparation for stepping into a new life. And I kept wondering: was she more nervous about the ceremony, or about the life that comes after it? >Para mí, era como estar viendo el último capítulo de una historia y el inicio de otra. El maquillaje y el peinado no eran solo para verse bonita; eran armadura, preparación para entrar en una vida nueva.
