Monomad: Black and white family portraits [Eng/Esp]

This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Happy Friday to all my dear friends in the community and photography lovers. I hope you are all doing great. I think there have been few occasions when I have taken photographs at graduation ceremonies, and today I want to share some family portraits I took of my friend Mariale.

Feliz viernes para todos queridos amigos de la comunidad y amantes de la fotografía, espero que se encuentren genial. Crep que han sido pocas las ocasiones en que he hecho fotografías en momentos de graduación y el día de hoy quiero compartir algunos retratos en familia que le hice a mi amiga Mariale.

The cool thing about these photos is that they weren't really planned. I mean, I had gone to take photos of my friend Mariale, and when we were done, I went with her to meet up with her family. While I was there, I asked if they wanted any photos, since I already had my camera with me, and that's how it happened.

Lo lindo de estas fotografías es que realmente no estaban planeadas, quiero decir, yo había asistido para hacerle una sesión de fotos a mi amiga Mariale, luego cuando terminamos le acompañé a reunirse con su familia y estando allí, pregunté si querían alguna foto, aprovechando que ya estaba allí con mi cámara y así fue.

Taking family photos is always a lovely thing to do, because when you look at it from a broader perspective than just taking a photo, what you are doing is creating a memory that can last over time, and in many cases it is one of the most beautiful things we end up keeping over time.

Hacer fotografías en familia siempre resulta una labor bastante linda, porque viéndolo desde una perspectiva alejada a solo hacer una foto, lo que haces es crear un recuerdo que puede perdurar en el tiempo y en muchas ocasiones es una de las cosas más bonitas que terminamos conservando con el tiempo.

That's all for today. As I said at the beginning, I don't usually take many family photos. I would say that the lens I have isn't the best for that, but I'm quite happy with the result. Have a great day, everyone!
